Does anyone know what's going on with Markus from Pro(c) Atari? He does not fulfill the order, does not answer e-mails and does not answer the phone? Is everything alright with him? -

I have Yoomp, completely boxed, but almost never play the original disk/tape/cart. Instead I prefer the free NTSC disk version, since that plays a bit slower on my PAL Atari. Tape loading takes much too long and the cart. shows a black/blank screen for more than ten seconds, whereas the disk version shows a nicely animated bouncing ball while loading...
Since my wife wants to separate from me, it all depends what happens in the next year and how bad that separation turns out. (But Atari is not the reason for separation.) Could be the case, that I have to sell quite a lot of my A8 collection e.g. 160+ A8 carts, including Yoomp and others...
I feel sorry. Hope everything goes your way Charlie.

I got this it's a Spanish Atari writer but can't find any info online about it. Heard it might had a regular release. But I can't find any info or photos to show it was released. If anyone has any info please let me know.
cart.jpgYour cart looks the same as in this auction https://www.ebay.com/itm/Escritor-Atari-400-800-XL-XE-1983-/273116437255?item=273116437255&ViewItem=&nma=true&si=zyMZ45d3nWjkzXHoPnQz8RaA9BM%253D&orig_cvip=true&rt=nc&_trksid=p2047675.l2557 I was the higher bidder (and the only one at this moment) but seller after 5 hours cancelled my bid because " the item was lost or broken"
and end up auction - I was pretty pissed off
about it. Do not take it personally but I hate such situations.

This site has been "dead" for 5 years, probably because something is falling, you have this "ban".
-
How sad to read about it. Analmux had "this something" when it comes to ATARI, it was visible even to someone like me - a hobbyist, but not a programmer. R.I.P.

I think that's good effort, nothing to shame of. Now time to start with the game...

These cars are fantastic. I am impressed by your work and how Rastaconverter pushes Atari to the limit of its graphic capabilities.

I'm in mid-Michigan and I'm an electronics engineer so if you can't find anyone closer, I'd be willing to look at it.
That'd be great. I'll let you know!

Have you repaired the monitor?
Someone sold one of those monitors for me recently. Considering this is a rare monitor I'm willing to be this is probably the one that I let go. Did you purchase this monitor from someone in Canada? If so, I can provide a little information about its history.
If it's not a secret could you tell us some more?

I'll take 3 rubber heads.

It looks like your Atari is manufactured on 12 week of 1983 with unit number 5497 - not so very early but not very late also. 😉
Early maschines from USA (starting with code 83S DA) 3 week of 1983 - late 22 week of 1983
The xx-x week-year (2-82, 3-83) stamp is important for age indication.
