Polish scene members - PAZUR and SAINT made accessible a brand new (old) game COSMIC HERO. Game was already written in 1993 and after some troubles with disc reading and cosmetic changes now enjoy our hearts! Pay attention on music converted from C64 - I like it very much. Not often we can hear such-like sounds! Game purpose is to put together pieces of cable from power generator to switch and then you can pass to next level. You have to also pick up flasks with fluid - as author says they will save Earth from destruction . Thanx to authors for this game and please for more!!! cosmic_hero.zip

Better way (read - much cheaper) is to buy a SIO2PC cable and look for some software on internet, then you can write on to discs whatever you want! There is an ATR image with THE CURSE game, especially for english speaking guys. I hope author - Roland Pantola will not by angry on me that I put here his game ? IMO the game is very nice and more important - came from POLAND! the_curse.zip

All You have to do is: 1. load MyDos 2. choose option "O" and give following parameters a) Drive Number "1" b) Remove drive "N" c) Is drive configurable "Y" d) High capacity drive "N" e) Is drive double sided "Y" f) Tracks/side "80" g) Step rate "0" 3. choose option "P" and give "1,D" (drive, new density) 4. choose option "I" to format disc and press "Y" If you follow points above you will get 720kb free space on disc (2880 sectors - maximum) Use only 3.5 2DD discs because HD have other Magnetic Parameters and are almost impossible to format. (or data can be easly lost). Modified XF551 can also format in SS/SD 90kb, SS/ED 130 kb, SS/DD 180 kb and DS/DD 360 kb. Good luck!
