Hi,

I have an new in box CODEBREAKER number CX2643 , the box is GREY color, and according to the AtariAge rarity guide there are only GREEN color boxes!!

I dont know if it is a picture or text label, I dont want to open the box to find out (NIB).

I bought it in Mexico, I dont know if this is some kind of “International release”, but all the box words are in English.

The back of the box is different from the ones listed in AtariAge.

How can I upload a BOX SCAN ? to AtariAge

What is the rarity of this game?.

Hola, yo me apunto a la lista, soy del D.F. y junto cartuchos del 2600 y de computadoras XE.

Hace unos dias encontre un emulador de XE se llama Altirra. Apenas lo estoy probando, voy a hacer algun juego con este emulador. Despues les dire como voy.

You were right, the 65xe problem was the RAM memory.

I made a swap between the 65 and 130 keyboards , and found out that also the 65 keyboard is not working. so I returned the 65 original keyboard to the computer, connected it to the tv and...... the video blew up ...a white screen appeared like a flash and now the 65 has the following failures: no RAM, no keyboard and no video....I think it will cost me more to fix it than buying a new one....

As for the 130 maybe I can replace the mylar or the complete keyboard. It will cost between $25 to $35 plus shipping ($35 to my country) or another option is to buy a used (working ) 65xe for $45. USD. (in my country).

Hello,

I need some help here . I have two ataris one is the 65xe and the other a 130xe, they are not working properly and I need to know if there is a way to fix them and if I need to buy any electronic components.

Here are the problems I found on each one:

 

65XE

1- computer enter the autotest when I turn it on.

2- None of the function keys work (help ,start, select, options, reset).

3- The “ON” LED is not working.

4- If I want to use a game, I cannot play with it because the computer enters the autotest.

 

130XE

1- None of the function keys work (help ,start, select, options, reset).

2- It accepts games and joystick

3- BASIC Language works well. It enters when I turn on the computer.

4-When in BASIC I write the word DOS, to enter the autotest, but I cannot select any option because like I say before, the function keys doesnt work.

 

Please help me , I wish to fix them !! (if posible).

[130xe y 65xe descompuestas.]

Hola, tengo dos ataris la 130xe y la 65xe pero estan descompuestas. Alguien sabe que reparacion necesitan o que circuitos integrados debo de conseguir para repararlas?. Las fallas son las siguientes.

 

130xe

1- no funcionan las teclas de funcion , (help ,start,select, option ,reset).

2- puedo poner juegos en el puerto y si funcionan, tambien el joystic.

3- entra bien al lenguaje basic.

4- al escribir DOS, entra al autotest ,pero no puedo seleccionar ninguna de las opciones ya que no acepta como lo dije antes las teclas de funcion.

 

65xe

1- al encenderla entra automaticamente al autotest y no puedo sacarla de ahi. aparecen dos barras del ROM , pero solo lee la segunda barra y despues continua con la lectura de la memoria RAM.

2- no funcionan las teclas de funcion.

3- el led de encendido no prende.

4- al poner un juego este no funciona ya que entra en autotest.

 

Alguna idea?

Hola, alguien sabe cuantos juegos de atari 2600 se hicieron, no recuerdo en donde vi que fueron como 160 pero no estoy seguro y es que quisiera tener la coleccion completa.
