Finally got mine! (Actually, faster than usual for shipping to Canada...)
-
Dang, this is a rare time that I hate living in Canada... (the waiting, the waiting...)

Question - FB2 Portable?
atwwong replied to Curt Vendel's topic in AtGames Flashback and Portable Consoles
I had a mini-faq going but it hasn't been updated for a while (Curt has posted a bit more info since then) but ths is the gist of the FB2 Portable info so far (scroll down to the bottom of the first post): http://www.atariage.com/forums/index.php?s...st&p=968362 -
Normally I'd keep quiet about this sort of thing, but since this is Adventure II... Thanks Albert and Ron
-
Mine's shipped as well! Thanks Albert!!!
-
I think it would be neat if these photos ended up on an official Adventure 2 web page/site. Unless, of course, AA is Adventure 2's offical web site...

There's too many of them... (quote from SW EpVI)

The Atari Flashback 3 Petition
atwwong replied to gamer1682's topic in AtGames Flashback and Portable Consoles
So I will eat them in a box. And I will eat them with a fox. And I will eat them in a house. And I will eat them with a mouse. And I will eat them here and there. Say! I will eat them ANYWHERE! I do so like green eggs and ham! Thank you! Thank you, Sam-I-am! One of my favourite books to read to children! -
You recall correctly. Hopefully the revised version of these games and others will be released with the FB2 Portable, or in some other form.

Moved to Atari 8-Bit Computers forum.

My plan is to have all those games in labeled cases by this time tomorrow. ..Al I'll take that as a "no." Unless he has an army of elves working for him...

Question - FB2 Portable?
atwwong replied to Curt Vendel's topic in AtGames Flashback and Portable Consoles
Well, we didn't say what's actually in the box. That's why we settled for sea monkeys with frickin' laser beams attached to their heads. Don't... kill... me... please... Actually, you can send me a working FB2 Portable prototype in my package, thank-you very much! -
Question - FB2 Portable?

From the Dedicated Systems forum: The glass is either half full or half empty, depending on your POV... -
I fear that I will hear dragon chomping in my dreams...
-
I understand the delay, but it's certainly not fun. I heard a little bat mention that the delays will be over and the fun will begin...
-
Soon... my preciousssss... very sooooon... oops, sorry about that!

Question - FB2 Portable?
atwwong replied to Curt Vendel's topic in AtGames Flashback and Portable Consoles
Curt is asking questions about FB2 compatibility issues on cart modded systems, so that is a GREAT sign... -
Here's a couple links in AA's 7800 FAQ section to get you started: http://www.atariage.com/7800/faq/index.htm...mID=7800#cat2_0 http://www.atariage.com/7800/faq/index.htm...mID=7800#cat3_3 Cheers, Tony

Question - FB2 Portable?
atwwong replied to Curt Vendel's topic in AtGames Flashback and Portable Consoles
But, you could... aww, nevermind... You'd better get some good rechargeable batteries or a lifetime supply of working power adaptors, then. -
Thanks for the compliment! I didn't invest thousands in making boxes, but each one takes a while to produce and probably wouldn't be feasible for mass production.
-
I'd be very interested in purchasing a kit or whatever you are planning; I can solder but I'd rather buy a finished multicart (Just because I'm feeling lazy right now...)
-
I understood that, but reading it still sounds kind of strange. No pauses with the fruit actually improves the gameplay. Also no problems so far (Maybe I'm losing my touch, or maybe you did remove all the issues ) after an hour of testing. Everything looks good (I'll keep testing though, just in case)!
-
Don't stop now. I'm adding some more things into those free bytes I found. I'll send you a ROM when it's complete. Okay, but watching neon tetras is making me feel sleepy... BTW, another half an hour of testing still hasn't revealed any problems.
