Don't know if this has been posted before, but you can play some classic Atari games for free at Atari Video games (http://www.atari.com/arcade), including two of my favourites, Adventure and Yars Revenge. There are some arcade games as well. The list is only 6 games currently, but maybe it will expand in the future? The sound is a little slow using the Google Chrome browser...

Wow! I haven't had the chance to try out the TV modes until now... I must say I'm very impressed.

 

It has this uber coolness and geeky factor - okay, enough of me gushing over this feature. (But it's so cool... I feel like a kid again!)

There are two hidden games, a test mode, ...

 

Sorry for replying to an old post, but how do you get into test mode?

From the FAQ:

Diagnostic/Test Mode -

While holding the Reset and Select buttons down with the B/W & Color Switch in Color mode -

Power on and you'll get a Joystick test mode

 

Doing the same thing with the switch in B/W mode -

Power on and you'll get a Paddle Controller test mode

Also when I play return to haunted house the screen rolls. Every other game is fine.

That's odd because I have the original bin on a cart and it doesn't roll on any of the 2600's that I tested it on. I tested the bin and it ran a constant 262 scanlines.

 

Also on the RevB units that I have, Return to Haunted House doesn't roll on my TV sets. I don't have a RevA unit to see if it rolls or not.

There is no voice in quadrun on mine. Where can I find a rev c. Listings on ebay don't say which rev they are.

You cannot tell unless you test the unit on Quadrun or open it up. Quadrun voice plays on RevB's as well. (Someone correct me if I'm wrong - too lazy to fire it up right now.)

I recall Dennis Debro fixed the scanline issue but it never made it into the RevC version... and the FB2 Portable never happened... yet. (One can still hope!)

I believe Space Duel and Yar's Return are hacks; the other games not mentioned definitely are.
