Question - FB2 Portable?
atwwong replied to Curt Vendel's topic in AtGames Flashback and Portable Consoles
Thank you, Tim! -
I'm really impressed at how the 2600 MESS drivers have improved in recent versions. The last time I tried out 2600 games in MESS back in December 2006, it was a mess. Now MESS properly emulates a lot more (including HAT ). Well done, MESS team! Keep up the great work!

Question - FB2 Portable?
atwwong replied to Curt Vendel's topic in AtGames Flashback and Portable Consoles
Over 500 replies! Atari better release this product... -
Linux is cool. Here's a screen shot of Stella 2.3.5 running HAT and Hack'Em in a Compiz Fusion cube in Linux Mint. Just to show that it can be done. Cheers, Tony

Please do not ask for FB2 roms/binaries here at AtariAge. Thanks. Future requests will be deleted.

Question - FB2 Portable?
atwwong replied to Curt Vendel's topic in AtGames Flashback and Portable Consoles
Thanks for the info (again), Curt! Looking forward to hearing from Atari (or you, if they won't produce it )! -
I'm never selling mine... Bwahahahaha!!! Okay, maybe for... one bahgillion dollars...

I like this system too, but IIRC, the bw/color switch is underneath the unit, severely limiting the pause function on newer homebrews/hacks.

According to the GP forums, $50-$75, depending how it's purchased (online vs. retail). -
Flashback Portable VS GamePort ?
atwwong replied to netmoe's topic in AtGames Flashback and Portable Consoles
Why on earth would you need 32 megs for 2600 games? Maybe the homebrew market will explode after the FB2 Portable is released... -
Question - FB2 Portable?

Thanks Curt for the update! Patience IS a virtue... -
People who helped make it don't count! In fact, they count for everything... but I digress...

Question - FB2 Portable?
atwwong replied to Curt Vendel's topic in AtGames Flashback and Portable Consoles
No news doesn't necessarily mean dead, as Atari has been known to be slow to move in the FB scene, but yes, we haven't heard anything new in the last little while... -
I wonder who 11-14 are, out of curiousity...

Runs and hides... So when do you get started on Haunted Adventure 5200? Trying not to go too far off topic... http://www.atariage.com/software_page.html...areLabelID=2359 But it's not the same as Haunted Adventure... no promises on anything for the 5200 yet...

..Al Heh heh... Love those magnets...
-
But what about the flags inside the castle? There's the key, an attacking dragon, and the sword... Well it's not the same image pixle for pixle and it's black. It's not playable either as you can't kill or interact with it in any way. Ah... that explains a great many things...

I love this game (and so I don't mind promoting it at all)! If you get a chance post a review in the AtariAge Store at http://www.atariage.com/store/index.php?ma...products_id=334

#15, so that means fifth in the order queue.

I just received mine today so finally I can read all the Adventure II threads. I've been avoiding them like the plague so that I wouldn't read any spoilers about what came with the game. It only took 9 days to ship to Canada, which is a lot faster than previous orders; I'm used to slow shipping from the US to Canada anyways. Although I was involved with play testing, I'm still really looking forward to playing the cart in my 5200 instead of sticking in that skinny looking PCB and EPROM. Cheers again to Ron, Albert, and all those involved with this project!
