I picked up the GC version and I like it alot. I loved the controls from OOT and WW and this version follows suit. I'm only on the second temple but it's a really great game. If the game was meant to be a Wii game I'd have got the Wii version but in all honesty this game was made for the Cube and they wii'ed it up to sell their new system. You lose nothing getting the GC version. Either way you'll be playing a great game.

I just started having troubles with my 360 and mine would have been out of warranty with out them going to a year. As it stands they are shipping me a box and it's getting fixed free of charge. Also note that while I was on the phone the guy said they were also sending out reimbursement checks to those who paid for fixes before a year was up. Nice.

Most people wait until there are games to play on a system before they buy it. As soon as the PS3 has some gotta have games it will sell regardless of price. Wii has that game...Zelda. The average consumer knows nothing of this thing which you call "Resistance" but they know Zelda and more importantly their kids also know Zelda. Wait until a "Metal Gear" or a "GTA" comes out and go ask the TRU guy which system is selling. Software sells systems and right now the PS3 just doesn't have the goods... yet. I can't wait until they do because it seems like it will be a heck of a system.

They pretty much have the emulators working right out of the box, providing your PSP is shipped with firmware 1.50 or lower. Still it's possible to downgrade quite easily now and it's pretty much idiot proof to do. GBA emulation is full speed and perfect now, I'd much rather play Advance Wars on the beautiful PSP screen than my sons old GBA with screen light.

I thought they were linked to your GamerTag. Can't you just do an account recovery and redownload them all for free?

Yeah I was surprised how much the 360 had as far as movies. If Sony really wants to get movie downloads off to a big start they should offer a way that consumers can burn UMD.... and make it cost effective. It would be great to download your fav TV series and keep it on a UMD whenever you wanted to watch it. I'd Pony up a couple of hundred for a UMD burner.

Thanks. Kind of sucks they don't make a battery pack like my 360. That saves a ton of money and charges right from the console. Glad I don't have to buy an adapter for the mem card though. I'll pass on the offer to pay more for the Wii though. I'll find one at retail.

The draw of Zelda has once again sucked me into getting a Nintendo console. I get my Christmas bonus on Wed. so I figured I would take some of that and get the family a Wii. I had a couple of questions that I can't find the answers to... 1. How much are the rechargeable battery packs for the wiimote? I can't find them online anywhere, of course it's hard even finding nunchucks for sale too. I assume I'll have to buy two for every controller - one for the remote and one for the chuck or will the pack run both? 2. Can I use my GC memory cards on the Wii right out of the box or do I need some kind of adapter? Can I save Wii info on GC cards? Thanks, now that I've decided to buy one I'm actually kind of excited. Every time Nintendo keeps dangling that Zelda carrot in front of me, and every time I follow it.

I saw three for sale at Target last week. I almost got one but when I went to look at the games to see what I would get there was nothing I wanted, except Resistance. Perhaps I'm not the smartest gene in the pool but spending $600 for one game..... not me. Hopefully in six months or so they will have more games and I'll pick one up then.

Just bought Assault Heroes as well. Really cool game. Need more XBLA games like this.

I get pretty much all my games at circuit city now. They seem to discount all their new games about 5 buck and throw in some little bonus ( shirt, hat or something ) as well if your in the first 100 or so. I'm just tired of the whole routine the employees at EB/GS run you through.

Glad to hear the wavebird works with the Wii. I'm spoiled with all this cordlessness and don't think I could go back. Why would you not want to play it with the Wii controller? The game plays flawlessly with the Wiimote and nunchuck. IMHO it would be way less fun with a standard gamepad. Not sure. Fear of change perhaps. I just always liked how the 3D zeldas controlled and prefer to play them that way. "If it ain't broke...".

I'm really looking forward to playing the new Zedla TP game, but I don't want to play it with the Wii's controller. My Game Cube is on it's last leg and I was just thinking of upgrading to the Wii since it will play all the GC games anyway. My question is - When the GC version of Zelda comes out will the Wii play the GC version fine or will there be something shady going on trying to force me to play the Wii version? I'd really hate to have to get another GC just to play Zelda. Also did anyone have any trouble with the wavebird hooking up to the Wii?

I'm giving this game to my son today for his Birthday. It's probably going to cut into my GoW playing time.

I'm just waiting for the big 70 plus inchers to go down in price. Then Starscream will get one of those and I can buy one of his "small" TV's off of him for cheap.

I think it looks terrible. I'm sure there will be a few good games that really make the controller look like a good idea. I think overall when looking at all the great third party games that will play like butt or will force you to spend more money on modular hookups to make them play better it will turn out bad for Nintendo. I hope this thing is REALLY cheap because it would be "a novelty" to own and mess around with, but this thing as a primary game machine? Not for me.

My Blockbuster has lots of PSP games and movies to rent. I just play Lumines though.

Actually there is a very big plus from being able to rip your own games. It uses alot less power to run a game off a memstick than it does to spin that optical drive. Batteries would last much longer. Course you'd actually need to be able to load games from mem sticks but I think you get my point.

I just wish they would release the ripping program so I can get a lumines iso on my PC so I can extract the music and make my own soundtrack.
