  1. I don't care if they've got boxes or not; all I really need is the cart and the pak. Simple, yes? Anyway, if you've got 'em, let me know how much you'd want. I've also got some games up for trade: Final Fantasy Adventure (GB) Final Fantasy Legend (GB) Final Fantasy Legend II (GB) Final Fantasy Legend III (GB) Justice League Task Force (GEN) Double Dragon III: The Sacred Stones (NES) Golgo 13: Top Secret Episode (NES) Star Tropics (NES) Star Tropics II: Zoda's Revenge (NES) Earthworm Jim (SNES) Earthworm Jim 2 (SNES) Probably a few others, too, if I sit and think about it. Reply or PM me if you're interested. You can check my eBay feedback if you wish; my username there is "liquidcross" as well.
  2. I wish I could find that. I never see the Tron sticks on ebay.
  3. Anyone know where I'd find one? I never find them on eBay, unless they're along with a system. I just need a "tower" or something to put all my carts in. The ideal would be a spinning one, like they have in the virtual "room" on the Activision Anthology PS2 disc.
  4. The original Pac-Man on the 2600 was enough to make me want to commit ritual suicide. How good is the update? I'm a pretty big Pac-fan, and I wouldn't mind gracing my 2600 with his presence...
  5. The screw's under the label, I take it?
  6. Not yours! Standard black boxes. I've got a spare copy of Defender I'm going to open up.
  7. How do you open cartridge cases without breaking them? I don't see any screws or tabs...
  8. Ack! Assembly language...the bane of my existence. Do any GUI-based programming tools exist yet? Ones that don't involve poring through line upon line of code. Getting that EPROM programmer's going to be the tough part, as they're rather expensive.
  9. Hopefully this isn't opening too big of a can of worms... I was thinking of getting into programming my own 2600 games, and/or making hacks of existing ones. I see the PCBs and other components around. What else would I need in order to get started? I know this is a tall order, but any help you guys could offer would be most appreciated.
  10. Mine would be playing my uncle's Atari 2600 when I was a kid. I remember playing Target Fun, Raiders of the Lost Ark, Pitfall!, Berzerk, Asteroids, Cosmic Ark, Space Invaders...and I'm trying to get them all back now.
  11. Because there's a Japanese slang term "paku paku" that describes the motion of the mouth opening and closing while one eats. That's where the name came from. And Pac-Man himself was based on a pizza with a slice missing.
  12. What we need is a USB adapter. Preferably one that'll run under Mac OS X.
  13. Has it ever been done? I want to able to link an Atari stick to a PC (at work, during lunch breaks) and a Macintosh (at home)...
  14. I hate to sound like a newbie...but I must. Thoughts/opinions on the two TRON games for the 2600? I'm not sure if I should nab them or not...
  15. $20-25? Maybe $30? I know shipping will be around $10, too..
  16. I'm looking to nab a system, and all I need is the console, 2 regular controllers, and hookups. However, eBay auctions have just gotten ridiculous. How much is this stuff actually worth? I can't justify shelling out tons of cash here...
  17. I bought one of these just to tide me over until I get my hands on a 2600. When that happens, I'll most likely sell it. I take insanely good care of all of my video game equipment, so hopefully I should be able to make at least half of the retail price. *shrug*
