  1. You mean just cover the other hole on the disk (not the write-protect one)? I thought 1.44MB disks were manufactured in such a manner that they won't work properly on a 720KB drive...
  2. Anyone have a few they could send me (I'd pay for postage, of course)? I want to test out my new ST, but I don't have any disks. I don't feel like buying 50-100 off of eBay, either.
  3. Anyone up for a trade or two or three? I'm not overly picky about boxes, manuals, etc, unless they're CD-based games. As stuff is traded away, I'll continually update this list. If you've got any questions, please don't hesitate to reply or PM me. Many thanks!
  4. Apparently the ones with the adaptors inside are slightly heavier than the average US cart. http://www.atarihq.com/tsr/odd/scans/adapter.html Try figuring that out, though, when you've got a stack of Gyromite carts. How do you know if they're all heavy, or all light? It's REALLY tough.
  5. I saw that too. That's insane. I'm trying to avoid the eBay route as a result.
  6. I only own one Famicom cart, but I wouldn't mind actually playing it on my NES for once. I've tried cracking open old Gyromite and Hogan's Alley carts, but to no avail.
  7. I'd prefer it with a box and manual, or even new, but I'd take a used cart at a good price.
  8. Can you install newer, better floppies in these old systems? I see cheap 1.44MB/720KB drives all the time, and I'm wondering if they're compatible.
  9. I've got pretty much everything else...R.O.B. himself, the red/blue controller trigger, the spinner motor, and the spinner resting thing (with the two black posts).
  10. Can 2600/Sega pads be used with the ST line? They can be used with the 400/800 line, I think...
  11. The main thing I need are those damn "claws," so he'll at least LOOK right. All the other stuff isn't nearly as important. I could live without the rest.
  12. I've got my R.O.B. robot here, and he's desperately in need of a few parts. Here's what I require: 2x gray "claws" (in essence, R.O.B.'s actual "hands"; they snap on/off) MOST IMPORTANT! 2x spinners Battery cover for R.O.B. Battery cover for spinner motor A copy of Gyromite Any help would be very gratefully appreciated. I'm really trying to complete this thing.
  13. That I'm not quite sure on. However, as far as the AC adapter goes, the VB uses the same AC adapter as the SNES. The only problem is that you need the VB "AC Adapter Tap" to plug it in. It's a little box that takes the place of the battery box.
  14. Where can I find them? And can the same cable be used with an 800XL and a 1040STf? Thanks guys!

  16. Too late. Already found/ordered one. Thanks anyways, though.
  17. Anyone got one they could part with? I'd pay for it, of course...
  18. Forgive me, I'm a dummy. If I want to copy software to a 720KB ST disk, how can I do it? Would that disk work in a regular floppy drive?
  19. Okay, here's my beef: if I get an ST, I won't be able to use a dedicated ST monitor with it, primarily because I simply do not have the space. So, I'd have to plug the system into either a) the RF input of my small TV, b) my existing VGA monitor, c) the composite inputs on my DV bridge (the last one's a longshot, but still an option). Are there ST-to-VGA adapters available? What about ST-to-composite? I know some of the STs already have an RF modulator built in...
