  1. That video looks stretched which makes any retro games look awful.
  2. I bough my N64 specifically for Killer Instinct. I know it was actually KI2 and called "Gold", but it was still a good fighter. So, Golden Eye ( specifically multiplayer parties ) Perfect Dark KI Ocarina of Time Hydro Thunder Knock out kings Ready to rumble boxing
  3. Thats pretty slick, but it isn't due out for several more months. The one thing I see that is a little odd about the JonnyPi is that the roms are preloaded.
  4. Has anyone had any experience with this device? I know it is a Raspberry Pi with an emulator, but are the controllers any good? It looks like a neat little pre built bundle. There isn't a big description of the emulator, nor the storage. https://www.jonnypigaming.com/collections/frontpage/products/jonnypi-retro-gaming-system-black-edition
  5. I bought two. They work but I don't play mine a lot so I can't attest to their reliability.
  6. Just read this from start to finish. Lots of people on here with great skills.
  7. Amazon has one for $160. Not that thats a great price, but its not $300.
  8. I will try and dig it back out tomorrow.
  9. Oops. Didn't notice the gray box being upside down. You are spot on with the purple box. Video pinball.
  10. I figured they were all commons. Wanted to make sure I didn't overlook something that needed to be stored better. Not really after any money actually. Just curious.
  11. Read the title. *edit never mind. I see what you did there. Fixed it. It was autocorrected from my phone. My spelling and grammar are quite good thank you.
  12. I have had this stuff forever. Unfortunately it all lives in a plastic container. Are these all just commons? Trying to figure out a better way to store it until it can be displayed. Not all of the boxes are sealed but a lot are. Sorry for the glare.
  13. I have an incomplete action max that we bought new. Played a handful of times but hasn't been stored well. Missing ac adapter and suction cup light. Also I have a final fantasy XI game that came with the hard drive for ps2. The game is sealed. It is the online version. Does this have any value?
  14. We were pretty poor growing up. I remember playing my first Atari at someone else's house and thought it was the best thing in the world. My parents was finally able to afford one, and only months later it was stolen. It took a few years for us to get another one used. Megamania was my favorite game. By that time though, the arcades had damaged my perception of video games and the atari felt dated. Then the video game crash happened. I went to work when I was 14 and started seeing commercials for the NES. I was floored. I rode my bicycle to Wal-mart and bought the deluxe NES with ROB with my own money. I still have that Nintendo to this day. Along with ROB. The console has a crack in it. The controllers have been repaired with calculator parts many times. The cartridge slot needs to be replaced. It looks pretty bad overall, but that machine is what I really attribute to my love of video games. The Nintendo brought just enough to the table at that time that I couldn't see video games getting any better. When I was about 16 I bought the Sega Master System. It was a neat machine, but I just didn't "love" it like I did the NES. I also got a Turbografx for Christmas one year. I never bought any games for it besides the pack in game. The NES had such and established foot hold with really good games. The N64 would be the next machine I purchased. Obviously I was grown by this time. It was a good machine for the few titles I enjoy. Ocarina of time and Killer Instinct. At that time I despised the PS1, but my friend had one and it started to grow on me. I bought a PS2 on launch day and have been a Sony man ever since. I know that Atari started it all in my child mind. But Nintendo took me through the years I remember most.
  15. I agree. And I wouldn't sell them without full disclosure. Looks like it takes a couple of different specific tools to open it up. I may just keep them. They are now on my display shelf and look pretty good.
  16. No slims had the emotion chip. Only the 60gb fat and the very short lived 20gb launch systems had the emotion chip. The 80gb had software emulation and wasn't fully BC.
  17. I have an aerofighters arcade and mine is missing the contacts on one of my coin slots. If you open the door, you can see where the coin hits the contacts. I just leave the door open and press the contact switch to add credits.
  18. They used to make CRT's that were meant to be flipped. They were used for graphic artists.
  19. I still have my launch day PS2. First console I ever pre-ordered from KB toys. That machine blew me away. I don't know how much longer mine would work if I used it. Ive already had to adjust the voltage to the drive laser. Luckily, for now, my PS3 plays all my PS2 games. In my opinion, the PS2 is still relevant. Socom 2 got me into the online shooters.
  20. I posted this on the NA forums without much input. I have two Virtual Boys. One is complete with box and AC adapter. However, the box has seen better days. The serial number matches. The other VB is just the unit and controller with battery tray. I have a few games, all with manuals but no box. Here is the kicker. They both work like they are supposed to, usually. Sometimes when you turn them on, one side doesn't work. Still plays fine, but apparently this is a common issue with bad solder. I have no desire to open them up. If you leave it on for a bit, both sides start working and it plays fine. Anyway, below is a picture. I want to keep one for my collection, but might sell the one with the box. Any idea on a starting price? I hate to compare to eBay. Prices are usually inflated and all over the board.
  21. I even had to search for it on SAG. Weird that it's not more readily available. Thanks for the info. At least they show it is n stock.
  22. I can't find the Super Retro Trio. Where do you buy this thing?
