What is the significance of all of the controller symbols next to people's User Name? And what do the titles mean? For example I'm Combat Commando and I have no joysticks next to my name. Is that relative to how many posts you make or something? I've seen River Patroller and Dragonstomper for example. Just curious.

Hey realize it sucks for me too. I'm an avid gamer, and for me it's always been about the games. As in playing the games. I've ended up collecting many if not most of all the systems made, because I love playing videogames as a hobby. I never realized how much any of this stuff was worth I guess. Now I know. Only lately now that I've broken out all my old stuff for fun, I've started looking around on E-Bay and other sites. This has been a first heads up for me as to the value of some of the outdated systems/games. I always "wrongly" figured once a system becomes defunct it becomes not worth very much. I'm lucky that I own some fairly valuable stuff in good condition. I remember I traded my entire Magic card collection to a good friend of mine for a Saturn, 2 controllers, and about 4 or 5 games. That was a very bad move, although the games I have off the top of my head are Shining Force 3, Guardian Heroes, Albert Odyssey, and Shining in the Darkness, and Shining Wisdom. As a kid I remember trading all my comic books for 10 bucks and a ton of porn mags. I had the complete series of Indiana Jones and GI Joe. I don't even want to know how much they would be worth. You live you learn. Don't take it personally though. Out of all my gaming friends, and that's a lot of people, I was the only one to own a Jag. And only one other friend of mine had a 3DO. I've never gotten rid of anything other than the boxes. I still have the manuals and keypads. I beg forgiveness!

Actually my Jaguar selection is a bit sparse, and I like what I have. I've got Cybermorph, AvP, Tempest, and Wolfenstein. I tossed the boxes already, because I didn't think at the time of it being worth anything. Big mistake on my part. I still have the box for my system though. I always save my videogame system boxes. I have quite a few other systems though.

I consider myself fairly "old school" by the fact that I started on an Atari 2600 when I was like 4 or 5 or so. I see nothing wrong with respecting and paying tribute to the original design of the Jag. I must say however that just because you revere the Jaguar does not mean that someone's creativity should be attacked. Anyone that is not blind can see that the blue Jag is in fact a "professional" job. I would bet that a majority of the people ripping on it couldn't come close to that quality of work. So what? You hate blue? Big deal that's a taste issue, not a quality issue. I think it looks kick ass in my opinion, but again that's my opinion. If you can do better then do it and post a pic.

How much do you want for it?

If anyone would like to sell/trade their copy of Towers 2 I would appreciate it. Also trying to find a reasonably priced Jag CD Player. I can't believe how expensive they seem to be. You can e-mail me at [email protected]mail.com. Thx!

I hadn't even heard about gaming kiosks until I saw this forum post. I would have to say if I had a Kiosk I would make it a Dreamcast or a Saturn one. How do you go about finding them/making them? How much are they and what exactly is it? Sounds cool.

Mine came in the mail and of course Cybermorph was included, but I also had purchased Tempest 2k, and they arrived together. So you could say Tempest 2K was my first. I don't remember if I got Wolfesnstein before or after I got AvP, but that's my Jag collection. Never did beat Tempest. I can't seem to pass the Heavy Metal area, or rainbow or whatever. I would love a copy of Towers 2 if someone has one. Also if you could steer me toward a reasonably priced Jag CD Player and copy of Battlesphere that would be appreciated. You can e-mail me at [email protected] I have an adpator for the Colecovision that allows me to play 2600 games. I also have Intellivision, NES, Sega Master System, Sega Genesis, SNES, Sega CD, Saturn, PSX, N64, Dreamcast, 3DO, Jaguar, Lynx. Ironically I got my Lynx with the included California Games, but never purchased any other game for it. I guess I kept buying newer systems, and never put much time or money into them except for the initial purchase. After my friend made me give his PS2 back to him I hit the Dreamcast, because it's awesome and I have a ton of games for it. It pooped out on me a few weeks ago so while it was being repaired I broke out my old systems. Beat AvP with the Preadator for fun. Didn't take very long. I can't touch my high scores I got with the Marine. I'd have to say I'm thoroughly enjoying splitting my time between my Dreamcast and Saturn. Guardian Heroes just rules! I never get sick of that game. Can't figure out why no other company used the idea for the next gen systems. It seems like a no brainer. Sorry for the essay. =)

I don't know why everyone is ripping on the blue Jaguar. I think it looks awesome. Maybe my sense of taste is different or something...
