  1. I say don't bother, the first time I played that POS, I had that "music" stuck in my head for my entire Programming exam.
  2. You can count me in for 1. My friend picked up a bunch of import titles not knowing he needed a modded PSX.
  3. Right now I'm playing Stimpy's Invention, surprisingly a great platformer and a fun game.
  4. Yea, I realized that, I just thought I'd try my luck selling it here, as there is pretty much no other place I can sell it. My local vintage game store doesn't take in any 2600 stuff (they have more than enough) and Craigslist is dead around here. Updated the original post with a price.
  5. Thats why I got into 2600, plus the fact that I was and am extremely bored of all the FPS's that on modern systems.
  6. It was not a GameStop. There is a store right up the main drag from me called The Dragon's Den. They have classic video games, as well as comics and all those different trading card games. I haven't gone into a GameStop in at least 10 months, and I don't plan on it unless some new game that comes out really interests me.
  7. So it might be the fact that my TV may be pure NTSC and my friend's might have been and NTSC/PAL? I have heard in the past that many new TV's now are compatible with both signals.
  8. I usually have my model 1 genesis hooked up to my 40" Visio, just for convenience since it is my main TV. The problem is that the picture vibrates back and forth on the screen, which may or may not stop during the game. I brought the genesis over to my friend's house and we hooked it up to his even larger TV and it had no problems with picture,as at first I thought that it might be the fact that it was an HD TV (only thing I could think of). What could be the problem with my TV?
  9. I guess looks can be deceiving.
  10. I'm gonna have to disagree, I've played Heavy Rain and though it was a perfect combo of a game and an extremely enthralling storyline. It just drew me in and I couldn't put the game down.
  11. I think he only bought it because he is desperate for N64 games, he just picked up a N64 and only has F-Zero, Destruction Derby, and (now) Starfox.
  12. So my friend and I walked into our local game store (not Gamestop), I was looking to trade in some PS2 stuff, so i could pick up some Genesis games. So while I'm looking at Genesis carts, my friend was looking at the N64 carts that they had. They had a bunch crappy (my opinion) wrestling and sports title for a couple of bucks, but they had some outrageous prices on some very common games. Mario 64 was $30, Mario Cart was $30, Starfox 64 was $25 (he ended up picking it up anyway), and the piece de resistance was Super Smash Bros. for $45. Am I insane or are these prices way to high for these games, most other things in the store are pretty fair in prices and they even have a "buy 2 get 1 game free" deal, but I refuse to even look toward the N64 games, hell even the Jaguar games they have in there are like $5 each.
  13. I just bought something from them on Amazon, so maybe there, their site is pretty bare I will say.
  14. 4 Switch Atari 2600-$15 -Just console -Works great, great shape except for a couple of nicks in the RF cable (not very deep).
