Consistency was not Atari's strong point huh?

I plan on building some shelves over the summer that will be shaped like various tetris blocks. It will used not only as storage shelves, but the TV stand as well.

I have a bunch of doubles of 2600 carts from Atari that have the same type of label (text, picture, silver), for example I have 2 text label Football games, but one has green text and one is gold text. Is this a normal occurance?

It looks like they printed out a label on cheap non-glossy sticker paper and had their 13 year old make the case insert on MS paint. It would be really sad if someone actually fell for this, let alone pay that price for it.

Its just that, I need a power supply for my new model 1, the power supply i had started to melt its own solder with how hot it get so I couldn't unplug that fast enough.

How much would that run?

Would you be able to fix my 2600 light six-er? Its got something wrong where the power cable inserts.

Bought a Genesis and a couple of games from thegoldenband. They were packed great, it was fast getting to me and everything looks immaculate.

I gotta say, I suggested to a friend of mine, to get a Retron1 for an NES, because he is only a casual retro gamer and all the games he wants to play work fine and are compatible, plus in my area, its incredibly dry for old consoles. It took me 2 years to come across my 2600 lot. I would love it if these clone manufacturers would make more clones, different ones, like the TG-16 and SMS, or get into some of the CD consoles. It would be interesting to say the least.

Lets put it this way, Out of the 150 carts I got, I have 4 dead ones.

Is there anyone or anyplace that I can get this done, I don't really trust myself with a soldering iron, especially with this many capacitors.

I showed my friends ET on Atari last week end, they thought is was as fun as a computer virus.

My brother's friend brought over his dad's Sega Genesis over today because he knew I was into old games. I plugged it in and and put the only game he had into it, the console boots the little black screen with "Sega Productions" but does not move from this screen. I've cleaned the game's connectors and consoles, but to no avale. I opened up the system and found 1 capacitor that was loose inside with the insides of the cap all over the board. Could this be the only reason that the game doesn't boot?
