  3. Hi guys,

I just wanted to let you all know that the next issue of Atari User is almost ready.

We have been a bit delayed as we go through final approvals and legal checks on something that I can't go into in great detail as it will spoil the surprise. What I will say is that the other party involved have been extremely helpful and cooperative and it has been a real honor to work with them on the next issue.

    Best Regards,

    Steve

  4. Looks like they'll keep going for a bit but BT and HTC have lost a nice bit of money now their invesments have been wiped.

I don't mind streaming, steam, the cloud etc, heck I'd hate being offline for more than a day or two but then I also hate being forced to be online just to load up a game. If I want to use steam then great but buy a game on disc, install it and then find out you have to go online to update it, register it and then play it... well, that sucks donkey balls.

  5. The guys at Replay Events have kindly offered discounted tickets if we can get a group of ten or more people together to attend the Play Expo.

Tickets will be discounted by 10%, without any online booking fee that might otherwise apply. If there are any AA Atari enthusiasts that are interested in getting together at the event then let me know.

Atari User will also be running a competition to give away a pair of tickets, again courtesy of Replay Events.

  8. Anyone started playing this yet?

I'm really itching to get it and end my self-imposed ban on Xbox marketplace. I read that you can choose to fight the vampires or side with them and become a vampire dark lord? Will that screw up my character? Whilst I like the idea of draining the blood of buxom wenches I'd like to walk about Skyrim without constantly getting attacked by the townsfolk.
