there was one pawn shop near me that had a vectrex that had been there for a while. the first couple of times i asked about it, i was told that it belonged to the owner and was just on display. then one time i went in, there was a "not for sale" sign on it. that also ended up happening to a colecovision and games i passed on there; one day, they just became not available for sale. odd. my best pawn shop find is probably a loose game boy singer izek sewing machine cartridge for $5.

there's a NES miracle piano keyboard with the user's manual and with the original styrofoam at the goodwill on hollywood blvd. near sunset in los feliz as of about an hour ago. too much for me at $60 without the cables and the game, but it was cool to see in the wild, and i'm putting the heads-up out there. good luck!
