  1. i apologize if i've missed an explanation, but i still don't understand why a non-paying bidder should be exempt from receiving a negative feedback.

did you find this at a thrift store? congratulations, you're living the game collector dream.
  4. all games are $5 each and CIB except where noted. prices do not include shipping, which can be combined. paypal only please. thanks for looking! 2600: shark attack space attack intellivision: uscf chess (missing overlays) world championship baseball big league baseball
  5. heads-up to L.A. people: saw a boxed 5200 w/5 games and 2 wico controllers for $75 at an out of the closet thrift store in atwater village today. it had the box for the switch box, but not the box itself. the logic of not having enough space for more of stuff i already have finally gave me the will power to pass it up, but it's out there for someone...
  6. what is a good going rate for a CIB thunderground these days?
  7. donate them to your local thrift store, or get the $3 worth of atari age store credit.
  8. i'm looking at those end labels trying to see if it's possibly a picture label "black jack" but it's very hard to tell. maaaaybe in the middle of the far right column in the center case? and i'm trying to figure out a way to bring rachel to the party...
  9. i'd like to see a picture of rachel before i make my decision.
  10. i found mine for $7.99 at a goodwill. there's no shrinkwrap, and the seal isn't 100% pristine (the piece sticking up has since come off), but apparently this copy was submitted for award consideration way back when by andrew house, who was appointed to chief marketing officer for sony in 2005 after 10 years at the company. and a sealed intelligent qube went for a relative bargain of $213.50 back in october.
  11. heads up from gamesniped, who say it was up to $1660 before a bid retraction. http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewI...em=270192250622
  12. at an out of the closet thrift: PS1 castlevania SOTN (GH)-$1
  13. oh man...if i remember correctly it was at a thrift store in north hollywood that's long gone by now.
  14. i've found one in over 10 years of game hunting in the los angeles area; a fast food proto that turned out to be a final version. didn't even know it was a proto until CPUWIZ gave me the good news.
  15. from homer's original $18,000 auction... "As far as the condition of the game. I took this picture a year ago and it has resided safely in a bank safe ever since. I have only taking it out a couple of times to test it." i'm just going to go straight to fort knox if i ever find one...
  16. http://www.atariage.com/manual_html_page.html?SoftwareID=835 Atlantis, its last installation devastated, explodes in a fury of fire and radiation. But wait! A satellite streaks into space! Where is it bound? Has someone survived the Gorgon onslaught? Can the Cosmic Ark repopulate the ocean metropolis? The saga continues.
  17. i don't know for sure how much of an effect it may have, but i try not to have auctions end in the middle of the day (for a lot of the U.S.) thinking that more people are at work, running around, ect. and not at home.
  18. my most recent colecovision find included pretty much all of the paperwork and overlays, but not a box to be seen. and i think a couple of the children's titles came in plastic clamshell boxes. the only boxed colecovision games i've found in the wild in over 10 years of looking are beamrider, zaxxon (in a CBS plastic clamshell box) and star wars arcade game. (i did find a boxed system w/ styrofoam a long time ago.)
  19. it's not real. this bit has been done on craigslist before and talked about here a few times. who knows what is the motivation behind it.
  20. nice looking little red corvette. thanks for the info on this one.
