this is a medley of "Fly, Yar Warriors!/Missile Command/Atari Theme" that i got from the 365 days music project a while back. missile command starts in at about 2:36. i am also a proud owner of the missile command record.

yeah, i've hardly ever done reserve auctions, and this was my first second chance offer, so i don't know all the ins and outs of 'em. i received a notification from ebay which had a link to the buy-it-now auction, which i presume someone could had snagged before me if he or she had somehow seen it first.

i ended up getting a second chance offer on this auction, and quickly accepted it. i put in a bid not really thinking i was going to get it; i thought it was going to really spike at the end. it's a quirky little package-the pete rose baseball, water ski and title match manuals are photocopies, but i have those already so that's alright. the rampage is in nice cosmetic shape, and meltdown's end label was put on upside-down! the seller also included a nice little handwritten letter mentioning that this was the last system he bought after he started collecting in 1982, how atari screwed up the marketing of the 7800, and what his favorite games were. these are all doubles, and i only need mean 18 to finish off my US commercial 7800 collection, so anything (well, maybe not tank command ) is negotiable...
