  1. found a loose genesis star control for $3, and beany bopper and human cannonball complete for $5 at the flea market today. the beany bopper and human cannonball had the same red $1.99 stickers and "1X" written in greasepencil on the back as these games that i got at goodwill last week, so i'm thinking that mr. flea market guy discovered them before i did. i also got a complete lost luggage at the same goodwill a few days after my initial find, so that's 10 complete 2600 games (well, 9 games and touch pad) in a little over a week...

  2. i apologize if this should be in or has been coverered in another thread. i was going through some boxed 2600 games and pulled this out, which i hadn't thought about for a while. does anyone else have this '87 box variation? don't know why they would go through the trouble to replace the original pac-man image, not to mention embracing the off-center aesthetic...

  3. today's very nice 2600 find, thanks to goodwill.

    all complete:

frogs and flies-shrinkwrapped, opened at bottom

    space attack-shrinkwrapped, opened at top

    astroblast-shrinkwrapped, opened at top

    lock 'n' chase

    threshold

spike's peak/ghost manor-the shrinkwrap is open at the bottom, but the box itself doesn't look like it's been opened.

    $1.99 each

boxed video touch pad (did this release come with instructions or a star raiders overlay?)-$2.99.

most of the games have little slips of paper tucked inside with scores and notes written on them-apparently, lock 'n' chase works best with the wico controller. :) oddly, the frogs and flies manual is folded in a very different way than usual, but there are no creases to suggest that it was ever folded the standard M network way...

  4. prices include shipping within the united states. i prefer paypal but will also take money orders. thanks for looking!

shrinkwrapped grey box 1988 home run: $10

-the box has undergone some crushing, primarily on the bottom right corner and on the right hand side of the back of the box.

01 combat boxed, with warranty card-$5

-i can't get the cart to work.

  5. sometime after i had bought 1 each of their available games when they were still $.80 each, i got a notification from them that they had the 7800 version of fatal run in stock, which was not part of their initial selection. i never got another notification from them about them offering other, more obscure games.

  6. i was happy winning this auction for what i assumed would be a loose cartridge. i was really nicely surprised when i received this:

(never asked about the auction picture... :))

also ended up with the manuals for frogger II and star wars: TAG in this auction. but sadly, not the crazy climber manual.

    and nice accidental waterworld snag!

  7. Is Game Dude still in business? They're in North Hollywood on Sherman Way(?) if I remember correctly. I think my 32X AC adaptor still has their foil sticker on it with their address if you need more detail than that. I used to live, like 2 miles from them in 2000. All Atari 2600 and 7800 games were $3. The punks there got a good chuckle out of the name "Revenge of the Beefsteak Tomatoes" when I went to purchase it.

very much so. they have a steady supply of $3 2600 games, pretty much all common. every now and then you can get lucky though, like when i found a silver gravitar and the black jack picture label there.

oh, and your package is going out today a.j. :)
