  3. I also got sumguyed on 5 SMS games later on at a Goodwill.

    And you're in the States?

I think I've seen SMS stuff in the wild once or twice in my entire life. I saw a console at a Goodwill once a while back, and I think I may have found a couple games a different time, but I'm probably thinking of a local game shop.

I'm in Los Angeles, which makes it easier to find too much stuff. :) Speaking of...

    post-3233-0-98299100-1345587812_thumb.jpg

It was longbox-a-palooza at the Salvation Army; I left a Krazy Ivan and a Top Gun w/o manual. All games were $5.99.

    Panzer General

    Wipeout

    Twisted Metal

    Shockwave Assault

    Battle Arena Toshinden

    Metal Gear Solid

    Spyro The Dragon

    Vigilante 8: 2nd Offense

  4. Oh yes, I understood. I just meant that the Dreamcast is such a great system - it's superb to find $3 games for it!

Agreed! Found some more games for it, alas at $5.99 each this time.

These 5 were $1 each at an infamous ;) Out of the Closet thrift. Tekken Tag Tournament and Silent Hill 2 are still sealed.

    CIMG3823.jpg

These two were $1 each at a pawn shop.

    CIMG3822.jpg

Gran Turismo 4 Prologue was $4.99 at a Salvation Army. Mega Man X Collection was $3.99 at a Goodwill; it was the first find of the day and a harbinger of good things to come. :)

    Colecovision Mr. Do! (loose)-$4

    NES Ultima Exodus (loose)-$4

Super Famicom Tetris Battle Gaiden (loose)-$8

  7. I definitely didn't mean to put anyone off; I really wasn't thinking in terms of an agenda. The bottom line for me is that it's a solid chain of thrift stores that have served me well over the years, and I don't mind supporting the research along the way. :)

And besides, the flaming N64 was found at a Goodwill, and a different Goodwill gave me this new PS1 Lego Racers for $5.99 today.

  8. Sweet jebus on the Flame N64. I've never asked why you are called orangest, but if you don't like orange I'd be surprised. It's my favorite color for a console (Was seriously miffed about the Spice GC not coming out in the USA). If you ever feel the need to sell or trade that puppy let me know :D beauty!

It is indeed my favorite color. :) And that N64 is a particularly sweet candy shade of orange. :)

And Out of the Closet is very real, and does a lot of good work. :)
