Had a fantastic day. Hit five half price sales. News at 11.
I felt like orangest today
Heh.
I've never had a single haul as large or varied as that...nice work. And yeah, he's definitely putting a golden band on the right girl.

I also got sumguyed on 5 SMS games later on at a Goodwill. And you're in the States?
I think I've seen SMS stuff in the wild once or twice in my entire life. I saw a console at a Goodwill once a while back, and I think I may have found a couple games a different time, but I'm probably thinking of a local game shop.
I'm in Los Angeles, which makes it easier to find too much stuff.
Speaking of...It was longbox-a-palooza at the Salvation Army; I left a Krazy Ivan and a Top Gun w/o manual. All games were $5.99.
Panzer General
Wipeout
Twisted Metal
Shockwave Assault
Battle Arena Toshinden
Metal Gear Solid
Spyro The Dragon
Vigilante 8: 2nd Offense

Opened mine right up, outstanding work all around. Thanks ShyWonderWiz!

St. Vincent thrift...tragically, there is just a Space Harrier cart inside, but i figure it's not a bad thing to have for $2. I also got sumguyed on 5 SMS games later on at a Goodwill. Walked in, saw him standing in front of them, and then saw him take them up. Nothing too rare, and I'll never complain about my SMS Goodwill karma, but still one of those "If I was just there 2 minutes earlier" moments...

Oh yes, I understood. I just meant that the Dreamcast is such a great system - it's superb to find $3 games for it!
Agreed! Found some more games for it, alas at $5.99 each this time.
Dreamcast-
Crazy Taxi 2
Dead or Alive 2
Resident Evil Code: Veronica
Fire Pro Wrestling D (the 2nd Japanese wrestling game I've found at this Goodwill in as many weeks)
PS1 Motocross Mania 2 (new)-$5.99 @ Goodwill
Gamecube Memory Card 251 (new)-$4.99 @ Goodwill
PS1 Tom and Jerry & PS2 Hasbro Family Game Night (new)-$4.99 each at a random thrift
Xbox 360 Bourne Conspiracy Demo Disc-$4.99 at Salvation Army

These 5 were $1 each at an infamous
Out of the Closet thrift. Tekken Tag Tournament and Silent Hill 2 are still sealed.
These two were $1 each at a pawn shop.

Gran Turismo 4 Prologue was $4.99 at a Salvation Army. Mega Man X Collection was $3.99 at a Goodwill; it was the first find of the day and a harbinger of good things to come.

-

PS2 Silent Hill 2 and Dreamcast Giant Gram 2000 were $5.99 each at Goodwill.
Found the ASCII Demo CD inside of a PS1 Arcade's Greatest Hits/The Midway Collection 2 case at a swap for $2.

I definitely didn't mean to put anyone off; I really wasn't thinking in terms of an agenda. The bottom line for me is that it's a solid chain of thrift stores that have served me well over the years, and I don't mind supporting the research along the way.

And besides, the flaming N64 was found at a Goodwill, and a different Goodwill gave me this new PS1 Lego Racers for $5.99 today.
-
Sweet jebus on the Flame N64. I've never asked why you are called orangest, but if you don't like orange I'd be surprised. It's my favorite color for a console (Was seriously miffed about the Spice GC not coming out in the USA). If you ever feel the need to sell or trade that puppy let me know
beauty! It is indeed my favorite color.
And that N64 is a particularly sweet candy shade of orange.
And Out of the Closet is very real, and does a lot of good work.

Fire Orange N64 with a Super Smash Bros. in the pack in slot-$19.99 at Goodwill.

$5.50 at an Out of the Closet thrift. I managed to remove a clear Blockbuster shield from the disc with only a small amount of residue left behind.

Dark Cloud 2 was $4.99 at a Salvation Army. Castle of Illusion and Wing Commander III were from a different Salvation Army, where all items are 40% off on Saturdays, so COI was $3.00 and WCIII was $3.60. All of the games are complete.

$5.99 each at Goodwill. All the boxed games are complete with styrofoam except for Dr. Mario, which is missing the manual. Someone used the front of the 8 Eyes box as a coloring book, the Rygar box is rough around the edges but the Boulder Dash box is in pretty good shape.
