5200 is excellent for fans of 80's arcade games. I just wish the library was larger.

Does the shipping for these Venezuelan games really take 3-4 months? I have seen a couple auctions I am interested in, but the stated shipping times are a huge turnoff.

Yes. I thought I had one that had a larger sticker on the cover, but both of my 2600/CV game centers must be Tele-Games brand because they have the same small square sticker you show, only a gold background with a black flourette overlaid instead of the Atari logo. My Intellivision game center has a molded in logo at the center of the cover.

You both might try this trick: Take the on/off switch cover off the console and spray liberal amounts of electronics part cleaner into the switch. Then flip the switch back and forth 5-10 times. Put the switch cover back on and try out the systems. I had one that had a black screen, but you could still hear the game sounds playing in the background. This switch cleaning technique cured it.

I asked about the top center location for the cover because there is a 2600/Colecovision game center that has a gold leaf type sticker at that location. I just noticed that the game center in your pictures does not have it. I have two 2600 games centers and one has a molded-in logo at that location and the other has the gold decal stuck on.

Did anybody get the Harmony cart and then sell off all their cartridges?

Did you remain room mates, or even friends, after that?

I see some freedom sticks on ebay, and they have a black cable and a light gray cable coming out of the infrared receiver. Is one cable configured for NES and the other for 2600? I already have a masterplay clone, so this is the main thing I would need to make this work.

Atari 400/800 is best for now, until D2K Arcade comes out for Intellivision.

Some random thoughts: In your video, it didn't look like the directionals on Pac Man were very accurate as you were getting caught by ghosts where you could have made a quick turn if the controllers cooperated. Would this setup work with a NES satellite wireless adapter instead of the Camerica one you used? This setup is pretty much limited to games that don't need keypad input since the 5200 controller with keypad would need to be hooked by cord to the Masterplay device, down on the floor. Overall, nice though. I may try something similar soon.

Looks nice. If you run some, count me in. Would you also consider doing similar for the Intellivision game center that was longer? I could provide dimensions if necessary. Also, do you do stickers for the top center location on the acrylic cover? Also, does anyone know of tips for taking scuff marks off the acrylic cover? I have tried acrylic cleaner that cleans, butt the scuff marks are still there.

I know this is just a pinch outside your time window, but it seems like a Back to the Future game with Michael J. Fox's character on an airboard, maybe even a time travel element added in for good measure, would work great on the 2600. I could even see a top-down scene, possibly from Back to the Future 2, where MJF is hanging onto Biff's car and trying to grab the sports almanac without being noticed. That would be most excelllent gaming fun on the 2600 for sure.

Fine grit sandpaper (400 grit or finer), folded in half and run it back and forth 3-5 times in the console cartridge slot. Follow this with an old toothbrush soaked in rubbing alcohol, scrub back and forth in the cartridge slot, being sure to get the bristles down between the connector pins. Allow to air dry for a minute or so, and then only insert games that have their cartridge connector pins well cleaned. The system should work like new.
