  1. When I run make, DosBox keeps crashing. I'm using version 0.74 and I've tried a few other versions. Should I be going about this another way?
  2. Yah I'm sure it would be, I'll take it anyway I can get it lol. Hope to heat more news on this soon, thanks!
  3. Thanks toarnold! Has anyone been able to compile the Doom source with this?
  4. I hope this happens, would love to see the original style tri-fold case and color manual reproduced for this.
  5. Both, I play everything I collect. If there was a repro of some type I'd buy that as well. [redacted] is working on a new controller, hopefully it makes it to production.
  6. I'm fine with that, I'll buy one today for $175 if someone wants to part with one.
  7. Always wanted the N504 model, if anyone has one they want to let go let me know.
  8. Check the recent sold listings on Ebay, it's the only market with any price history. If you have a controller for sale shoot me a PM.
  9. Thanks, I figure this would be a good place to try.
  10. Should of picked up one of these years ago. Willing to pay market price which I know is up there these days. Anyone have one they are willing to let go?
  11. Please add me to the list, Thank You!
  12. I have both versions and the size of the character sprites are pretty much identical between the 3DO and Jaguar. I prefer the Jaguar version because I think it has better color, the 3D0 version kinda has a green screen effect where the colors on the character sprites aren't lit the same as the backgrounds. I also prefer the controls on the Jaguar better.
  13. eBay Auction -- Item Number: 251024601606 Put my 2nd copy up for auction. No reserve.
  14. If anyone is interested I've put my 2nd copy up on ebay. This is by no means a pristine copy but a worthy addition to anyone's Jaguar CD library. I happen to love this game personally. Was quite a surprise when I walked into Babbages back in the day looking for something new for my Jag and spotting this guy. Also remember my buddy bringing home the 3DO version the same day, good times! I may be biased but I think the Jag version beats the 3DO version hands down . Also a quick note for you guys, if you select the same character in a versus match the game will actually load additional frames of animation for that character, check it out and you'll see what I mean, plays very smooth. eBay Auction -- Item Number: 251024601606
  15. I have to agree with JagChris, BattleMorph was a bit disappointing. Yes as a whole the game is an improvement over Cybermorph but what killed it for me was the low framerate and clunky animation. Compared to say Iron Soldier, which had a solid framerate and excellent animation, BattleMorph looks like a terd. I will say that the framerate is quite nice in the tunnels, which is comparative to the tunnel bonus rounds in I-war which where also nice. There really should have been a jag 3d shooter type game that was tunnel based, similar to Descent but obviously less texture mapping. I still to this day do not understand what compelled so many Jag developers to push a game design that ran poorly on the Jag just for the sake of making it 3D. It would seem as a developer you would sit down and play the game (i.e. BattleMorph, HoverStrike, I-War) and think, "This is slow and clunky, nobody is going to play this, lets try something else!"

    Jaguar VR

$600 max for a reproduction unit.
  17. JustClaws, are you sure the Gamecube only has 24MB of memory? I thought it had a total of 40MB or you could say 43MB if you count the frame buffer and texture cache.
  18. Been reading this great book about John Romero and John Carmack and how they started Id Software and thier seperation, very good book so far. As I was reading I was hoping there might be a mention of Jaguar Doom. It does mention that Atari paid Id Software(Although I think it was John Carmack that did most of the work) $250,000 for the port of Doom on the Jaguar. Kind of an interesting little tidbit, dunno if it has been brought up before. I wonder if Atari ever made that $250,000 back. I was hoping it might mention what Carmack thought about the Jag port or what he thought about it not having music but nothing like that was mentioned unfortuneatly.
  19. I would prefer professional packaging. The tri-fold CD case and pressed CD would be awesome!
  20. Thanks , Ill check it out when i get home.
  21. GOVmole, Do you remember which issue of Game Informer you read that in? Or maybe what was on the cover?
