  1. T3K is a fantastic game! My only gripes is that the difficulty is a bit insane on certain levels so prepare yourself .
  2. That is friggin sweet! So I could load demos like Phaze Zero and surf the web if i so choose on my jaggy through an ethernet connection?
  3. Saturndual32, did you ever find the answer to this question? So far ive only found that the maximum number of polygons per ship is 256.
  4. Highlander 2 and 3 for sure! The original Highlander was an excellent game. The controls are really not that hard to master as others make them out to be, I rather enjoyed the figter style combat system. Sure the character models could have looked better and no doubt they would of had in a sequel. I think the smooth animation and beautifully rendered backgrounds more than make up for the low model detail though.
  5. Im not sure if you guys remember the early screenshots of Fight For Life in gaming mags but I recall the original FFL logo using a pentagram. One of the first things I noticed when I finally got to play the game was that they had changed all the pentagram symbols to just a triangle within a circle except for one. When you are deafeted by an opponent after the 2nd round choose no when asked to continue. You will soon see a rotating and scaling Fight For Life logo with the original pentagram still intact. No big deal really but kind of cool. I suppose Atari decided to remove the use of the pentagram at the last minute being that some people believe its satanic or something. Kinda cool that they had forgotten one though, or did they .
  6. Hrm, Probly my copy of T2K signed by the man himself, Jeff Minter . Wish I had the JagVR though .
  7. Remember towards the end of Tramiel owned Atari that they tried releasing a few Jaguar exclusive titles for the PC? I know for a fact that Tempest 2000 was one of these games. But I swear to god that one of those games was Highlander and I could have sworn I seen that game for sale at a local EB once upon a time. Does anyone know if the same Highlander for the JagCD was released on the PC? I enjoyed the hell out of that game and wouldn't mind owning the PC version as well if it in fact does exist. Does anyone know if any other titles were released?
  8. Anyone else ever noticed how much smoother the animation is for the prehistoric combatants when you have two of the same characters fighting? The game speed seems to be a bit quicker as well. Give it a try, its a pretty significant difference.
  9. Thanks for the feedback! I thought it might of had something to do with the amount of internal memory on the cpus. Too bad memory was so dang expensive around the time of the Jaguars production.
  10. Sorry if this has been covered before but I was just curious what it is about the Jaguar's hardware that makes texture mapping so hard for it to handle? Most games that try to use it extensively seem to suffer from pretty bad slowdown like SkyHammer and HoverStrike. On paper the Game Boy Advance doesnt seem any more powerful than the Jaguar but Ive seen a couple games that seem to be pushing texture maps pretty quickly(V-Rally 3), although not at a very high resolution . Ive also read that the Quake and Quake2 engines have been ported for use for the GBA. http://www.bobbeetec.com/drg_media_v.htm So my next question is, if anyone can answer, is that what makes the GBA so much more powerful that it could handle Quake. Or maybe the Jaguar could handle quake at the same resolution of GBA 240x160 I think? Thanks for any replys!
  11. What about Zero5? I thought that game was pretty impressive for the Jag. Check it out here: http://www.ataritimes.com/jaguar/reviews/r.../rev_zero5.html [/url]
