I didn't know there was a wonderswan flash cart, other than the cart that Flavor created recently - is that the one you mean, or is there another?

I actually think the hardest part is not the design but the graphics and sound - if you can't do them yourself your f******* lol. Sorry but I honestly don't have the time for this project, at least before 2018, and then I suspect when I see what stuff I am still working on it will be 2019.

No, but I've not completely given up on it. At some point I might revisit it, replace the graphics and sound and finish it off. At the moment I am on with Jack Attack - spent a couple of hours on it last weekend and its nearer to completion.

I meant the 'text file' bit listing cheats and codes etc. Save states I don't think will be possible. Might be possible to load them but tricky I think.

Now that's a nice idea! Should be relatively easy to do that I think. Maybe I will add that in at some point.

SainT has done an awesome job on the Neo SD menu - I doubt it will need any changed tbh - but maybe we can add image previews again perhaps. I've not had time to look at changing the menu on the Lynx yet. I will find some time at some point, and I will merge the sprite pack routine into the code to produce the .lsd files. Because its open source I am sure we will probably see other menus done by other people - that's what's great about this! There's likely loads of ways the UI could be changed yet.

Great work!!! Super excited lol! It's hard to believe all these great systems getting the focus recently! Better buy myself a Jaguar soon, as I expect the SD cart for that will be out before I've blinked.

You really need to check if the 5v level has gone beyond 5v - if it has, it probably killed Suzy or Mikie. is this a Lynx 1 or Lynx 2? Sometimes it can be easier to measure the 5v VCC by using one of those EPROM based repro carts - because its easy to measure on the EPROM to check the 5v level.

It is possible to plug in a 3.5mm power adapter, but the main power connector is a different size - so in theory using an original PSU you shouldn't be able to do that. My guess is you have one of those multi connector adjustable voltage PSUs? What happens typically is the power destroys the cap on the sound output, and sometimes the speaker (as had happened to a faulty unit I repaired previously). You really need to open it up and see if you can work out where the burning smell is coming from. It's not a good sign that it doesn't power up. Maybe a cap is shorted or something.

I guess it would involve populating memory and registers from snapshot, and populating the rom, then resume from the address it broke at? Shame we can't create snapshots =\
