  1. I love both Tropical Trouble and Beauty & the Beast. The Intellivision wasn't exactly swamped with fast-paced arcade style games, and these are two really good ones with lots of replay value.
  2. Holy crap, that 13x13x13 is ridiculous! It would be neat to have one, but hopefully the price will eventually come down a bit. The last cube I bought was a 5x5x5 several years ago... looks like things have really progressed since then, lol. Also, I just want to add to the consensus that David is a super-cool guy.
  3. I would like to purchase one of these, if they are still available. This thread is long and confusing, lol.
  4. I guess you could say Infra-Man is kind of a Chinese version of Ultra Man. Basically the Shaw Brothers were cashing in on the Japanese tokusatsu craze of the early 70s... they just turned everything up to 11.
  5. Egad, we are in the presence of video game royalty... I don't know how to conduct myself. Next thing you know, Shigeru Miyamoto will be dropping by to talk about D2K.
  6. M.D.... Mr. Deux? Mr. Doo? Mr. D'oh!? Mr. Don't? Mr. Do Wah Diddy Diddy Dum Diddy Do? Mr. Do You Think These Jeans Make Me Look Fat? Clearly I'm hoping for some kind of Mr. Do clone C.C.V.T.S.G.O.T... Christmas Carol Vs. The Series Game of Thrones? (OMG, please say it's this!!!)
  7. If anyone has an extra copy of Sirius that they would be willing to part with for a reasonable (i.e., not crazy eBay gouging) price, please contact me. As a latecomer to the 7800, I unfortunately missed out on these when they were still available. I was lucky enough to score a second-hand copy of Plutos from a generous seller recently, but it needs a copy of Sirius to keep it company... shmups gotta stick together after all, especially on the 7800!
  8. Has anyone else run into "invisible walls" on occasion, or is my CV just being weird? I've had it happen a few times, but most frequently on the very first screen, in the tunnel that slopes down and to the left. If I'm carrying a money bag and running to the left (back down the slope towards the ladder), I'll sometimes hit a point near the bottom of the slope where I just can't go any further left. If I go back to the right for a bit and then left again a few times, I can eventually get past it, but it's weird and annoying. The game definitely has some quirks, but not all of them work against you. Due to the oversized hitboxes, you can drop a money bag, walk forward about half an inch or so, and then pick it back up again even though you've moved pretty far away from it. Doing this repeatedly lets you transport money bags way faster than you normally should be able to, and I feel no guilt whatsoever for abusing the crap out of this. A very fun conversion overall, though I'll admit to uttering my share of curses towards the ladders from time to time.
  9. I'd never seen the MSX version before... it looks pretty damn good! The jumping is a little off, and there seems to be some rather suspect collision detection, but overall it's really impressive!
  10. My games got here super crazy-fast... thanks, man!
  11. As long as we're discussing the space combat genre, a port of Elite would be awesome! Not sure how feasible that would be on the CV, though.
  12. I love Pooyan, I would definitely be in for a copy!
  13. Wow, very nice conversion! This is definitely a game that was in need of a little variety. On a side note, Chopper Command on the 2600 is the very first game I ever "flipped" when I was a little kid... once the score gets to 999999 (or some combination of all 9s, anyway), the game just stops. After that run, I kind of never really wanted to play it ever again. I may have to make an exception for the Inty version, though.
  14. My copy of Telebunny works fine on the CV + SGM. I don't have an Adam to test on, unfortunately.
  15. I have a friend who's been talking about picking up a PS4, I'll check and see if he's interested... which bundle is this?
  16. Great prices on some uncommon titles, and Coyo got them to me quickly & safely... there was even a little extra surprise tossed in, which is always cool!
  17. Just wanted to let you know that my games arrived safe & sound. Thank you, sir!
  18. I guess it's safe to say that Blix won't get any more than a maximum of 30 votes.
