  2. I just received an 800XL motherboard, a case and a bunch of screws. All separate. Can someone please tell me what screws go where so I can put this thing back together so I can have a whole computer. Thanks! Bill
  3. I can do it for you. Just need to find the 1.4 binary file
  4. Thanks @mytek!! You are correct. My sole purpose of installing the UAV is to get better Composite and SVideo. Don't give a Crap about the stock video. No loss there
  5. Thanks @DrVenkman! I was thinking I need to solder my 4050 to the UAV
  6. I can't find install here on Atariage. Can someone point me to install of UAV in 800XL with instructions and Pics? Thanks!
  7. We now have 3 devices that are similar. Can anyone tell me the pro's and con's of each so we can figure out which one to buy? Thanks!
  8. I have decided that I am just going to stick a UAV in it just like I pt in my 1200XL
  9. Thanks for that. this schematic shows 1uf jumped to C51 & L5 L5 removed and a jumper in its place R52 does it get replaced by 100 or 330ohm resistor or the resistor goes across? Remove C56 R116 10 ohm across? 1K C55 to R58 R66 100 John to Chroma Does that about cover it? Thanks for your help!
  10. I am going to do the simple S-Video Mod. First step is to remove C56 Here is a PIC of my C56, it looks like a resistor but know that there are some capacitors that look like resistors. Can someone please confirm that this in fact a capacitor and is ok to be removed. Thanks!
  11. Had same problem on mine. Resoldered them and now they work again
  12. I have a light gun and CRT and love playing light gun games
  13. Thanks! You have a nice machine too! I plan on Upgrading to the new Prusa 4. My Atari cartridge holders take 22 hours to print. With the Prusa 4 I am hoping to knock that down to 12-13 hours
  14. I was finally able to get my Side3 to fit the cartridge. Apparently these Side3 boards are not exactly square. In order for me to fit the cartridge in the case, the PCB needed to be turned .5-1mm. Well I couldn't turn the board in the case. It seems the JTAG port was hitting the side of the case preventing the board from being moved. So I cut out a hole as you can see in the photo. I was then able to get the PCB to fit. Thanks for the case.
  15. Thats what I was thinking. The new 3.1 PCB must be ever so slightly bigger.
  16. Just print the case and it great! Only problem is my Side3 is like 1-2mm too big on the sides. The case without the Side3 inserted fits together perfectly! Justcant get my side3 cart to fit and close the case. Here are some pics. ]
  17. @Marsupilami merci beaucoup! Printing new cart now!
  18. I just picked up a bundle of Atari goodies. One of the things in the bundle was a Recoton Stereo Sound Simulator. It has a SIO and DB-9 female. I can find anything. Anyone know anything about this? Is it worth anything? Thanks for the help!
