Still seems a bit high. Prices fluctuate, but just as a data point, I grabbed a boxed INTV with 15 or so boxed games late last year for $45+shipping. Not really sure if that was just a lucky deal or if it's fairly representative of the going price point on these, but you asked for input, so...

Holy crap! That game loose is worth around $30 now. I had NO idea. I literally have 3 of these loose...
Yeah, it's that rare cross-section of being a great game that is also relatively scarce. (Similar to Little Samson, Duck Tales 2, et. al. on the NES.)
You also have a shrink-wrapped copy of the Coleco Vision version don't you, MJ?

Bought a Sega Genesis hard case from him, and it's a thing of beauty. Got here like three days after I paid for it too, which is always a plus.

Super guy to deal with; look forward to our next exchange.

I don't have a TI/99 (or I do, but it's lost somewhere in the parents' storage barn), but I'd love to see a picture of this anyway.

Are the old side-cord controllers really worth that much more than the standard? I understand collectibility and all, but man--that stupid cord coming out the side makes it really impractical to use for actually playing SMS games.

It's just a matter of time before my lil' Magnavox CD-i 450 bites it because one of the chips has battery built inside that kills the system's ability to start once it completely loses its charge. There are workarounds to fix it, but it gets nasty.

ax hasn't volunteered yet? He lives in TN, which would be far closer than anyone dipping their toes in the Pacific. Then again, I think he's kind of a lone wolf out there in Warren County.

Bought a RetroGen Genesis handheld from s26k, and it arrived super quick and in exactly the condition described. Many thanks!

Wouldn't mind having the hard case, but that foam looks pretty stained with Lord-knows-what. (Previous owner did dip?? The mind shudders to imagine.)
And I'd LOVE the power strip as well, but no way I could ever justify paying anywhere near $100 for it. Not saying it isn't worth it, because I have no idea; it's just that I've not yet reached that stage of collecting or wife's tolerance thereof yet.

If only Sega had used the same screen in the Nomad that NEC used in the PC Engine GT (Turbo Express) 5 years earlier. No ghosting, great color and contrast, and still going strong some 22 years later.

A fantastic buy on a fantastic portable. I paid $70+tax for mine. (Although granted that was in a local game shop.)
-
$140 is a killer buy for this with all those games. Got a friend who's looking for one; going to forward him this thread.

That's a fantastic deal! Makes me wish I didn't already have most of those. A new (or would-be new) Lynx collector should jump on this ASAP.
-
I figured he just included those in the description to pull in more search hits. But yeah, I went out and saw those on eBay, and the pricing is much higher than I was expecting for a bit-player in the console handheld market. Granted, I've never priced GKs before, but I have to imagine that the market for those is very niche, same as with the Gamate.

Mind posting pics here? Hate to have to scour across eBay looking for your specific auctions, although I guess if you at least post the eBay links that would be an okay compromise.

Totally called it.

Excellent! Thanks, guys!

I hate to ask such a n00b question, but I keep seeing references to buying parts, etc. from "Best". But it's such a generic name I'm having trouble finding the shop on Google. Can someone give me a link? Seems like it must be a good store to keep on reference.

A word of warning about the Xbox wireless bridge. I have one and was disappointed to learn that it does not, with official firmware, support WPA/WPA2 encryption--only up to 128-bit WEP. I've read that you can flash some models of the adapter to run a custom firmware which does support WPA, but I never wanted to bother with that. I just set up a different router to use as a guest connection in my house and have the Xbox bridge connect to that one instead.

Metal Arms is a fantastic game and one of my all-time favorite releases for the original Xbox. The 4-player split-screen multiplayer is brilliant fun, with the bot-jacking mechanic being a real game changer in terms of making things interesting and unpredictable.

I sold a black N64 compete with controller, PS, RF adapter, expansion pack and a scratched up copy of Goldeneye for $25 plus shipping here on AA a couple months back.

Yeah, I suspect that's a later revision of the controller hardware; much cleaner looking. In fact, on the one I have, the numbers "1" and "2" (to designate which port you were supposed to plug each end into) look like they were simply hand scrawled with a soldering iron on the flat part of the blue tip.
One of the guys in that Lemon64 thread I linked in my OP also mentioned that his had the round cables instead of ribbon. I actually PM'd the guy to see if he ever got a working D64 dump of the disk; haven't heard back from him yet.
Thanks for sharing!

That's not a particularly pricey game. Seems a bit much for just the case and manual. Amazon has it CIB for $30. (And Amazon shop listings are generally overpriced to begin with).
Of course, if someone just happened to be needing a case for the game, I guess this is a way to just spend $15 instead of $30 to have a CIB copy.
