  2. 19 LEFT... .https://www.ebay.com/itm/SNES2JAG-Super-Nintendo-Cable-convertor-for-Atari-Jaguar/133449454742
  3. Small glitch on my part...... 39 still available....
  4. Friendly reminder that in 20 minutes the listing goes live for Snes2Jags My eBay storefront is https://ebay.com/usr/unclejody Also I do not ship to Brazil..... so keep that in mind.
  5. Your New Snes2Jag features a Power Switch The On Position is when the Switch is moved to the “Right” The OFF position is when the switch is moved to the “Left” Use Cases If using a Snes HDMI Solution (Pound, RAD2X) that requires external power, then turn the SNES2JAG power switch to OFF. This Switch should be in the ON position for using all other cables including HD Retrovision cables.
  6. Also Completely unrelated.... but this spray paint is an incredibly close match to the Jag grey plastic coloring. If you ever need to color match the Jag...for what ever reasons.... this is the stuff i would recommend.... I used it on my Snes2Jag Double Wide and its a damn near perfect match. Vallejo Hobby Paint Panzer Grey .
  7. One update to this batch of Snes2Jag's is the addition of a power switch. Flipping the switch with deactivate the power from the Jaguar that is used to power the HD Retrovision cable. Why you ask? well, I wanted to offer support for RAD2X Snes HDMI devices and the Jag would not power the device itself. BUT you can modify the SNES RAD2X to accept external power by snipping off a little piece of plastic allowing you to use a micro USB cable to power the RAD2X with an external source. The switch ensures that you are not feeding power to the RAD2X from two different sources which caused noticable interference with teh video signal, and im sure it wasnt good for the RAD2X either. Better safe than sorry. Its not necessary and may not be something the vast majority of users will use, but I wanted to offer the option with no markup to the price. The switch will come set to the "front" or "ON" position to provide power to HD Retrovision cables. I just wanted to provide this bit of info ahead of the Listing going live.
  8. Since my Snes2Jag listing is going live this Friday at 1:00PST. I decided to make something for myself. I actually don't even have a Snes2Jag of my own. I usually sell them all to others. This is just a Snes2Jag Double Wide that uses the 5volt vcc from the DSP card edge connector which eliminates the need for a voltage regulator.Other than that its pretty much identical to the standard Snes2Jag.
  9. Yep... I up-cycle the RF adaptors as most of them are just going to go into the trash. Once i landed on the process I chose an existing object, N64 Rf adapters, for my project to fit inside of. Basically I make my wiring fit in an existing case... cheaper than 3d printing or injection molding and still game related. Plus It seems fitting that Im using a nintendo part for an atart system, considering Atari rejected North American distributions rights for the Nintendo Entertainment System back in the 80's.
  10. I have scheduled the listing on eBay for 40 SNES2JAG units. Scheduled eBay Listing goes live this Friday, June 26, 2020 01:00:01 PM PDT. My eBay storefront is https://www.ebay.com/usr/unclejody My twitter is https://twitter.com/Uncle_Jody LIMIT ONE PER CUSTOMER I will be enforcing a limit to one item per customer, duplicate/multiple orders will be canceled. I am committed to making sure that each person can get a SNES2JAG if they want one...please respect this policy and your fellow Jag enthusiast. I expect these to all sell out so please set a reminder on your calendar, follow my eBay store, turn on notifications, I made more than my current known demand requires, but there seems to be way more Jag users today than there was a few months ago... good luck everyone! Thanks for all the patience and interest in this project. It's been really rewarding to be able to make something that so many people enjoy. Scheduled eBay Listing goes live this Friday, June 26, 2020 01:00:01 PM PDT. Cheers Jody
  11. I receive a tremendous amount of interest and purchases for Snes2Jag Devices on Twitter (when they are available for sale) and Twitter followers are always super excited about Jag and Lynx Items.
  12. Yes...I will be enforcing a limit one per customer as a way to make sure everyone gets one. Thats how I have always done it. If demand wanes I might relax that rule but only after sales slow down to a point where it makes sense. I haven't seen anyone reselling the 2Jag units, but your concern is valid. Thankfully this item is fairly iunder the radar and most people still don't see a value in selling or reselling to the Jaguar community.
  13. You missed the post where I changed how I took order. and the post where i stated making them to Order, and the post where i detailed that I was moving my operation to eBay, If you're going to be pedantic and quote my own words then be thorough or don't bother. I have no interest in replying to you point by point. You want to cherry pick my words to make your point... go ahead. This thread was made to CREATE the FIRST List. When this thread was made I was only intending to make ONE run of these adapters, not to let people just say "Put me on the list" forever and ever expecting that Im going to keep and manage a list of interested people or some for of pre-order list. I left this Thread active so people could find the adapter and express interest I don't owe anyone anything.. I make a thing that some people want and find value in and I sell the thing to those people. How I choose to do that si my business, I can also choose who I sell to or not to sell them at all. This is my last word on the subject.
  14. A quick update because its late...I can't sleep and I'm annoyed. Sorry in advance for the rant, but there are 2Jag conversations happening in other, unrelated threads and I figured I'd post something here to establish a baseline statement directly from me to clarify current status, my standard operating procedures and next steps. "I was on a list" No you weren't. There was never a list, I don't keep a list and I never have. There were never pre-orders. For a brief time I was making them to Order, but thats not a sustainable way for me to operate and I stoped. A History Lesson The first batch of 20 2Jag adapters was first come first serve. I started making these roughly two years ago and I've been steadily supplying them as demand required and as my schedule permits. They are hand made items, not mass produced and making them takes a lot of my time, time i'd much rather spend with my family right now. I make VERY LITTLE profit after you take parts sourcing and purchasing and construction time into account. This is a hobby for me, not a job and I served the Jag community FIRST roughly two years ago when I brought this project directly to this Forum. I sold the first 50 2Jag devices at a LOSS because so many Jag fans get gouged for overpriced aftermarket items and I didn't want to be that kind of seller. After having served the dedicated Jag community to the point that my orders had stopped on the forums, I opened sales up to eBay due to the wider market and I started charging more to recoup a tiny bit of profit. Bottom line is I was doing this to bring something new to the community and because it was fun for me....lately it's not much fun anymore. My Current Life I am very, very lucky to still have a full time job, a job that I get to keep while working remote during a pandemic. My company is busier now than ever and my workload isn't getting smaller anytime soon. 2Jag adapters are NOT my priority right now. Bottom Line This batch of 2Jag devices will be done when they're done, on my timeline and when I'm happy with the product. I'll sell them on eBay because that makes my life easier, which cost me in eBay fees, but its where I reach the widest audience. I'll tell everyone WHEN the auction is going live well ahead of time. Put the date on your calendar. Set a reminder. Meet me halfway. You will get an update HERE on my topic. Follow the topic, you'll get an email when its updated... all automated and everything. I will also tell my followers on Twitter...because that's an audience that actively follows me. I've had more people reach out through Twitter for a 2Jag than this forum. EVERYONE will have a FAIR chance to get an adapter. No Lists, no Pre-Order. First Come First Served..like it's always been. After this run....I'm done. If this sounds agro to anyone, I'm sorry, but like I said..... It's late, I can't sleep and I'm annoyed.
  15. Dude.....Not to ressurect an old thread.... but i just did a BennVenn LCD mod, sound worked fine before...afterwards...no sound.... pulled my hair out for days tryin to track it down myself and on Forums....You saved my sanity!!!!!! Thank You!!! This solved my issue. I have a fantastic image and great sound now!! Thank You Again!
  16. Just to clarify for everyone...there is no list. Its first come first serve. Im finishing this batch and will make an announcement here on Atariage and on my twitter account. I will schedule the eBay listing to go live at a pre-determined time to take place a few days after my initial announcement. This will give everyone time to plan for the listing to go live and will hopefully ensure that everyone who wants one, will be able to 1. Be aware that they are up for sale 2. Properly plan to purchase one when the listing goes live. There will be 39 Snes2Jags and 1 Gen2Jag. Up for sale.
  17. You can also use a Rad2X for HDMI output if HD Retrovision cables are still out of stock. Thats the modification thats taking me so long to implement.
  18. You may not want to wait when this batch is finished. I seriously doubt Ill be making any more....I know Ive said that before but this time its most likely true. Wouldn't want to you wait an miss out.
  19. Update: Hello all....I, just like most of you are Quarantined at home...however I am still working full time as my company was set up for remote work from home long before the Pandemic. I have finished the majority of the work on the 39 Snes2Jag...I need to wire up the Voltage regulator and install a switch that allows you to use the Rad2X HDMI solution....Rad2x needs external power as the 5v coming out of the Jag is juuuust enough amperage for HD Retrovision cables, but not enough for the Rad2x...Im no engineer so my solution sis to adda. small switch to kill the 5V from the Jaguar and allow for external power as the Rad2X needs. Also if you bought a Snes2Jag from me and its falling out of the back of the Jag when you move it......get in touch with me and ill fix it for free you jsut pay for shipping...roughly 6 bucks round trip. I've improved my processes since the first few batches and now the connection is much better with the Jag edge connector. I know this is taking longer than anticipated....I appreciate all the interest and kind words... I also appreciate your patience. I'm close...I just need to find the time to push through to the end. Thanks
  20. Hello all.. Quick Update. Snes2Jags are still being made....I have roughly ten more to make, whcih I should get done thins weekend....then some minor things left to do and ill be able to put them up for sale.. I know its taking longer than I imagined or wanted, so I m sorry. They are very close I promise...We are talking roughly two weeks at most. Trust me I want them to be done too...life has a way of making your hobbies come last...this is no different.
  21. Im looking for a Nuon Controller..not too picky about which one, but I'd really like the Samsung controller if possible.
  22. The Rad2x defaults to 4:3 aspect ratio so you should be good to go.
  23. I don't do any additional signal processing. The "2jag" devices are simple passive devices. They just route the video and audio signals from the Jag to a more common AV output...in this instance the Snes Av out. You will have to manually set your monitor to 4:3 to avoid stretching whcn using the device with a Rad2x. There isn't anything I can do about it unfortunately.
  24. Rad2x will require external power via Micro USB when using it with a Jaguar. The SNES version of the Rad2x device has a Micro USB plug installed but its covered up by a plastic tab (the SNES delivers enough power so this isn't needed when using the Rad2x with a Snes.) Thats why its covered up with a plastic tab, just cut that tab off and you can power it with an external source. Snes2Jag all have a power regulator so they will work with HD Retrovision cables. I will modify the device with a small switch so you can turn it off when using it with a Rad2x as the Jag does not provide enough power from the AV port to power the Rad2x and if the power regulator is still active it causes some signal noise in the image. (At least in my experience) just a heads up, Im not an Engineer...just a hobbiest. The smoothing filter works great on some games...not so much with others. As usual YMMV. No time frame as i need to figure out how and where Im going to install a small switch to the SNES2JAG
  25. Here are some more videos of RAYMAN VIA Snes2Jag to Rad2x HDMI out. Low pass Smoothing filter off(first vid) and then on (second vid) IMG_6992.m4v IMG_6991.m4v
