i've never had that problem. i keep all my cartridges in an entertainment stand...out of possible gaining-smell areas. (and crossbow...look who's back. i still want to give you that game.)

i didn't know robotech was an atari 2600 game!!!!! i love the show, by the way.

i go to THE CD/GAME EXTCHANGE. i got half of my genesis collection there. and my local thrift store had a ton of atari 2800 games. they said on them: BASEBALL PROGRAM. but they are not there anymore. and by the way, fire will, where do you live?
