  1. I pm-ed about "1 Atari 130xe tested no cords" almost a week ago, no response. I need to know your location (Country, City) to make an offer (considering the shipping cost).
  2. Hello! Is there such a device like a machine state snapshot saver for 800xl/130xe? That means i can save any game any moment and restore it later. For machines like spectrum/amstrad and atari st there was multiface from romantic robot which did it, but i've never seen such device for 8bit machines. Artem
  3. tofay i 100% fixed the blooming keys issue. Soda did help but i saw unevenness in some places. So, tooth paste, tooth brush and 30 minutes to brush the paste on each key (all sides) without water solved 100%. They are now clear crisp dark brown. But the letters are still not 100% white. I think H2O2 might not help with letters. H2O2 treats the flame retardant, but lettering paint does not have it. The yellowing of the lettering has different origin. So, the best way to fresh up the keys is actually clean it with usually detergent and a toothbrush.
  4. Hmm, i must try it. Several questions here: 1) Is it okay if i put it in a cellophane bag in order to keep it wet? (cellophane lets UV through, though with time UV destroys it) 2) Is it okay to add some water to keep it wetter and a bit deluted? 3) Does it ever cause blooming if not dried out? 4) Is it okay to use on dark plastic, like dark brown keys of 800xl? 5) Is okay to use UV black light lamp for processing? 6) How much time max plastic can be exposed to this creame?
  5. Hmm. original retrobright does not mention to leave out oxy. So, people just use H2O2 w/o oxy nowadays?
  6. Damn, i got blooming on the keys! Even thought H2O2 was just 6-8%. It probably happened because the goo dried out in the sun. Anyway, i figured how to fix it! I used baking soda, a little water and paper towel to polish it just a bit and blooming went away even without hurting the matt surface of the space for example. And yes, they are DARK BROWN, i was color blind a bit latelly
  7. Scrubbing and usual detergent do not help. Peroxide made it almost white leaving the black base as it was. But why do you say "dark brown". It seems to be pure black.
  8. Hello! I am trying to retrobright an 800xl but cannot figure out if i should stop processing the keys. Was the original color of the letters or the black keys pure white or a bit yellow? Thanks! Artem
