Yep - thats it!! Is it rare??? UK/European spec it would have been. Does it have cart & mini cards games - or is my memory a bit fuzzed up there?? I said the age thing because most people who remember that machine were in their teenage years when that baby was released - making them at least 30+ now. I'm not to hot with any machine before a Nintendo NES or Sega Master system - thats what my teenage years we spent on & rampage in the arcade.... Thats my earliest Video Game memory - oh that and a Plastic brown Pong machine made by Binatone - ever seen one of those??? That sounds pretty cool - do you have a Moog?????

yep - very similar - not in white, but usual black. Maybe the controllers slotted this way though > & <. But may have been front loading. Does it have curly cords connecting controllers to system?? Im sure it had them. I'm gunna ask her if she still has it. I don't see her very often. I can see it now - I'll pop over & she'll be engrossed in front of her TV playing frogger on it - (It was sooooo 70's). Would you belive I'm only 24???

Sorry no pics - but this has been bugging me. When I was younger my Nan (how cool was she) had a video games machine to keep us occupied. It looked like a 2600 with the wood effect/real wood - it had two controllers attatched via curly cords which sloted into the machine either end/side. The controllers had dials on them & changeable 'keypads'. I'm pretty sure it had donkey kong aswell. It was a cart machine & maybe had credit card size game cards aswell. My memory is a little fuzzy as it was 15 years ago. What is/was it???? cheers

cheers mate - nice 1 - my programming knowledge starts at WML & ends with xhtml. Mostly web/wap stuff - I was put off programming when I got my atari ST & there was some programme with that - if felt like you needed a degree & had to type a million characters just to make a sprite - But I am older & wiser now - thanks again

my favourites, has hundreds of websites stored (dont we all!) It's a pain for me cos Ive got a PC only slightly more advanced than a lynx (pentuim 2 - no laughing) - it takes ages for me favourites to load. Plus I can't be bothered to arrange them - they are all over the place. See here for an example - it's a forum using php aswell - When you log in you can save posts to your profile. http://www.esato.com/board/viewforum.php?forum=2 I'm sure it will be a very handy feature BUT>>>>>> When I posted this (being new) I didn't know I would get e-mail alerts everytime a topic was relpied to. So e-mails are cool. Just what I was used to with other forum I suppose - but this website & forums are well laid out - good stuff... I like...

wapchimp replied to Kasenoke's topic in Atari Lynx
I like the android.... who looks strangely like Tee-Bob out of the 80's Mask cartoon. (remeber that???) -
Sorry if this has been asked before but is there any option to bookmark certain threads - so I can come back to them later. If not this is a good option to add
