I can't find a single Jaguar CD Unit anywhere, hence my question. Also, will the Dev CD Unit play regular CDs/Carts?
-
Thank you. Much appreciated.

If anyone can answer these questions, I'd appreciate it:
1. I recall a puzzle game for the Neo-Geo Platform. All I remember is a girl with pink hair and 3 eyes. Anyone know what it is?
2. I also recall a game that appears similar to the Arcade Version of Nintendo's Punch-Out, but with Swords instead of Boxing. Anyone know what that one is?
3. I know the Neo-Geo Pocket (Color) had a couple of RPGs, but what about the Neo-Geo CD or MVS?

Hi. I have a rather strange issue with my ColecoVision. When I'm playing CV Carts, there appear to be white blurs/smudges on black parts of the screen. However, when using Expansion Module 1 with 2600 Games, this doesn't happen. I'm not sure if it's just my TV or if something is wrong with the CV. Has anyone seen this issue before, and is it fixable?
-
In any case, I found this video on YouTube, but it seems to be lacking detailed instructions. How exactly would one do this?
-
I wonder, why don't the CV Flashback Controllers work on a real CV?
-
Are you sure? If I start the game with the Number Pad (2nd Slot) but use a 2600 Controller (1st Slot), it works fine.
-
Hey all. I've tried fixing the down-direction on my CV Controller, but it outright refuses to work. Is there a mod or something that removes the metal plates on the Controller's Board in favor of something more reliable?
EDIT: I can provide pictures of the interior of the Controller if need be.
-
your talking about the cartridge port extender because some cartridges we not made to specs and didn't seat correctly in the cartridge port.
you only got this if you called coleco back in the 80's and complained about some games not working. then they would
send you an adapter that fixed the problem,
If you need a photo of one, I can attach one to the thread. mightywiz has explained in some detail what you are asking after in the original post.
I am not certain what the 'official' name is for the device, as it is rather plain in construction. This complicates searching for one, I know. I can tell you that I have only seen four or so show up on eBay over many, many years. None have been definitely or consistently named there. That number isn't definitive, just my personal accounting. I have always wondered how many have wound up in the hands of collectors over that timespan. Maybe someone else knows better than I.
So I guess it's not exactly easy to acquire one then?
-
Hey all. I've learned that I need some kind of "pass through" device to play some 2600 games on the CV's Expansion Module 1. Problem is, I don't know the exact name of this device, so I can't search for it. I also lack a picture of any kind. Anyone know what this device is called?

If you like Fighting Games, you can't go wrong with Flying Dragon.

I've heard that the US Power Supply is unreliable, and that the Canada Power Supply is the way to go. How do I tell the difference between the two?

Hey all. I'm looking to trade for some Genesis Games. I have some assorted items which I can trade for them. I'll also sell this stuff if anyone cares to make an offer. Also, the Genesis Games do NOT have to be CIB. Cart Only works for me. They do, however, have to be NTSC-U.

Sonic The Hedgehog 2
Sonic The Hedgehog 3
Sonic and Knuckles
Ristar
Shining Force
Shining In The Darkness
Phantasy Star II
Phantasy Star III
Clayfighter
Bubsy 2
Virtua Racing (Racer? I forgot the title)
TRADE BAIT:
Shenmue 2 for Xbox (CIB, comes with Movie)
White Knight Chronicles 2 (PS3, PAL, but works on US PS3 if you play in 720p)
Atari 5200 with working, rebuilt controller and hook-up cords
Atari 7800 with hook-up cords and controllers
Robotech 3-Disc DVD Box Set
More stuff coming soon!

I have a lot of Nintendo and PS1 stuff too.

Hey all. I'm looking to expand my SMS Game Library. As the SMS is region-free between the US and Europe (I live in the US), I will take games from both regions, and I am willing to ship what I trade Worldwide. Also, the games can be loose. I could honestly care less if they are CIB. Here are the games I'd like to acquire:
Ultima IV (Supposed to be a rarer title, but I don't know)
Buster Douglas Boxing (VERY RARE in US. I've been told it's ultra common in Europe)
Alex Kidd 1
Psychic World (PAL Exclusive)Hang-On/Safari HuntITEM GET!!
Zillion
Quartet
Govellius
Transbot (Supposed to be on a format similar to TG-16 HuCards)
Sonic The Hedgehog (Surprisingly, the US Version is near impossible to find. The EU Version is easy to find though.)
Sonic The Hedgehog 2Outrun 3D
Spy VS. Spy (Also in the HuCard-Like Format)
That's all I can think of for now. Are there any more RPGs for this thing? (I have Phantasy Star and Miracle Warriors, as well as Y's.)
Here's what I have for trade right now:
Atari 5200 w/ all the hookup cables, 1 functional controller, 1 functional Trak-Ball, and several games. (PM me for details on those). I am willing to split this lot up.Uncharted Waters: New Horizons for SNES (I replaced the battery in it, so it will save for at least 10 more years.)GONE!
Sega Genesis Model 1 Empty Box (But it's pretty beat up)
Wario's Woods for SNES (I will replace the battery before I send it out)
Aura Interactor CIB (Backpack like device for the SNES and Genesis that rumbles when "punches" connect in Mortal Kombat)Dragon Quest V (JP PS2 Game)
Shin Megami Tensei III Maniax Chronicle (JP PS2 Game)
Devil Summoner 2 (JP PS2 Game)
Tales of Destiny 2 (JP PS2 Game)
More to come soon! -
Does anyone have a Starpath Supercharger for the 2600 for sale or trade? It doesn't need to be in perfect condition cosmetically, it just needs to work fully. I'd prefer to keep the price 25 US Dollars or lower, but I don't know how much the thing is actually worth. I'd prefer it to be loose, as I'm not into collecting CIB Items. I can also trade an AtariVox Speech Synthesizer for it.
-
Pictures available upon request.

PS2 Imports:
Dragon Quest V (Ultimate Hits) CIB - $10
Devil Summoner 2 + Nocturne CIB - $20
Tales of Destiny 2 (Yellow/Gray Case Variant) CIB -$15
Systems:
Softmodded Xbox (Console Only) - $30
Panasonic 3DO FZ-1 (Console with Hookups and 2 Controllers, Save Battery has been replaced) - $100 (Price is negotiable)
Hopefully, I'll have more items available soon.

Did a trade with Bull, and he described everything perfectly. A+.

Hey all. I'm looking to trade my original model 3DS for a PlayStation Vita. The 3DS comes with an SD Card, Charger, and, if you desire it, a Skylanders Game (It comes with everything except for Figurines). Send me a PM if you want to trade. Thanks!

Hey all. I'm looking to trade for a Dreamcast. It must, and I mean MUST work! I am absolutely sick of finding broken Dreamcasts all the time. It doesn't have to look perfect cosmetically, but it must function 100 Percent. If you can trade me Shenmue (Doesn't have to be CIB, but it must work as well, and have all 4 discs), that would be helpful too. The Dreamcast must include 1 working controller, an AV Cable, and a Power Cable. Here's what I currently have for trade:
-Intellivision Console with 4 games. One of the controllers acts up a little though.
-Atari 5200 Console with about 10 games. Comes with what I believe is a rebuilt controller. -
Bought a 3DO from her, it arrived quickly, and was in pristine condition.

-
Hey all. I bought a 3DO Controller, but after I bought it, I noticed that it was from Japan, which leads me to my question: Will it work on an NTSC-U 3DO? I ask this because I know 3DO Controllers use a voltage kind of thing, which is why Genesis Controllers won't work on it, and will fry it in fact. Here's the controller in question:

Regarding the CV Power Brick, is it actually unsafe to use?

Besides it's overwhelmingly large size, is it actually unsafe to use for any reason? Is an Electric Fire or something more likely to start when using one or something? Or is it safe to use as long as you unplug it when your done? Can you use it for extended periods of time without issue? (Extended periods of time means 45 Minutes or more)
