Just to clarify, I'm not defending E.T. nor am I defending Pac-Man. I asked people to named bad Atari 2600 games other than E.T. and Pac-Man because those two games are usually the first ones that come to mind.

In your opinion, what do you think was the worst game ever made for the Atari 2600 other than Pac-Man and E.T.?

Again, I don't do eBay anymore. Amazon is much better for someone like me...but good luck with the sale, Stitch. I know someone's gonna bid a lot for it, especially with all of the games that come with it. I predict the winning bid will be between $250 to $500+.

For $50 that's a steal! Too bad you put it on eBay. I'm not saying eBay sucks, but let's just say I had a really bad experience with a seller there that cost me several hundred bucks and made me swear off eBay altogether.

I look forward to the new edition....I just wish it would come out sooner instead of towards the end of next year.

I haven't heard of any 2600 games that are incompatible with the 7800. I think you should buy a 7800, it is a better value in the long run considering that its two systems in one. Here in the US, a 7800 costs about $20 to $25 more than a 2600 on Amazon. I don't know of any sellers of 7800's on Amazon.com that offer international shipping, but it wouldn't hurt to check.

So you paid $150 Canadian for all of that? It would have costed roughly $152.08 in US money. The current US$ to CA$ rate is 1.01388 Hope that helps..

...And I'm one of those people. I'd much rather have an actual Atari VCS/2600 than a cheaply made knock-off system that runs games in emulation. I know some here will disagree with what I have to say, but it's just not the same as having a real Atari.

Here are my thoughts on the Jaguar: People were still buying 16 bit games at the time Jaguar came out and others were holding out for the PlayStation and Saturn. Also, the controller was terrible. IGN named Jaguar's controller the worst ever made. I think that if Atari had redesigned the controller, made it easier for third party companies to make games for it, and had used a better CPU and UART, then it could have done better. It also would have helped if Atari had marketed the system properly. Atari claimed that the Jaguar was a true 64-bit system. However, the system had a 32-bit Motorola 68000 CPU, and both the CPU and GPU executed in a 32-bit instruction set.

Sounds like a cool game...if there are any other copies still in existence, there's no telling how much it could sell for online due to the fact that this game was sold in limited quantity. Thanks for sharing this with us!

The 2600 had a life cycle of over 14 years. The VIC-20 had a life cycle of just 5 years. That alone should tell you which was better.
