Why no updated versions of Zelda 1 and 2?
ussexplorer replied to rockman_x_2002's topic in Classic Console Discussion
Well nintendo did love mario. So thus, you get mario everything. Plus the snes has its own version of zelda. ALso there might not have been room in the cart. Plus the snes was still selling along side the nes for a while. Later, ussexplorer -
No they won't work with regular 3D glasses. They use shutters. If I remeber correctly if people couldn't see 3d with the red/blue glasses. They didn't have a problem with the shutters. later, ussexplorer I myself have 3 sms 3d games.

Well, my guess would be something Atari or something infogames has or can get the rights too. Since they are willing to mfg real joysticks on the flashback two tells me to expect something even better. Remeber flashback 1 was just a good test run. With bugs and flaws but still good enough seller to spin a 100% compatible systems known as flashback 2. To me the 5200 is the next in line but like the jaguar. I don't think many will reconize it. We also have to think of games. I woud love to see more 7800 titles or a true 7800 system. So we think console, joysticks, and carts. That can be just about anything. Even another nintendo. A muticart system would be cool. Could kill sega for not showing up with one instead of the dreamcast. Still plenty of genesis carts floating around. I just picked up another 27 carts with cases and some manuals. Still in great condition. Before I head off, I would like to point out only collectors and a few others interested in the original 2600 has carts. The rest of the world won't or care to have anything to do with anything. Except for the few who plays a flashback then goes looking for the original system. Thus, another all in one makes sense. Oh, wait I was suspose to be talking about a fb3 system. I'll go for the XL system with usb keyboard/mouse/cart port. Since look at the c64 joysticks and hacks. Then again c64 was big, really big at one time. Later, ussexplorer

Not in pocatello idaho yet. But there is only one walmart in pocatello. Pocatello is 20 miles from me. The next walmart is in blackfoot. That is 40 miles. Idaho falls is the next at 60 miles. If I can in the oppisite direction. I'll find a store in burly 40 miles, then 100 miles to twin falls from where I'm at. So I'll just have to wait. They might show up soon. Since the interstate that runs through pocatello is a main link through this area. I beleive the stuff is comming out of NV walmart distribution center via truck. But, I'm also not keeping my hopes up. Now if I was up in nampa idaho. There was 2 stores 3 miles apart. ANother in meridian aka 8 miles and then 3 or 4 in boise at 12 miles depending on store location. That is just crazy if you ask me. But then again people complain about driving to the caldwell walmart. I lived between then at 1.5 miles to each. So OMG 3 miles to drive from walmart to another and people complain about it. later, Josh

Well, after finding out my dad chucked my atari and nice case. I got another one that was dirty and stuff. I cleaned it up. Cleaned the switches and still need to work on it a little. Don't know if it works or not. One of the caps is leaking a little. No problem though. Below is a picture. Also is a flashback picture. Later, Josh

Well, you forget the whole entire point. They don't wany anything of the game sold. They want to control all of that 100%. Nintendo is wants to distroy old games. You also have to remeber they just released mario for the gameboy advanced. Plus I think they did donkey kong too. You have to understand. They want you to purhcase the new games and new hardware. Even if the games are changed. Sortof like VHS to DVD and now the new HDVD or blue ray or whatever. AKA same movies with some new stuff added in. later, ussexplorer

ussexplorer replied to ussexplorer's topic in Modern Console Discussion
Yes, but this projector retains to the other projection using the inexpensive bulbs. So either way, somebody looking for a projector. Might find and bid anyway. At least this keep a record for me of what to look for next time. later, ussexplorer -

Kodak LC 500 I wasn't sure how this would fit in. I forgot about about this model until I was skimming through e-bay again. It uses a 300 watt bulb. Once again the same inexpensive slide projector bulbs. If I remember correctly this is a color projector. I couldn't find any information on the kodak website. Currently there is two of these projectors on ebay. Please do not bid on the cheap one for $20.00. I would like to stake a claim in that one. These seem to be fruitful around the net. http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewI...ssPageName=WDVW -
This stuff comes up all the time. Check out for fire trucks. The large ones don't seem to hit that much. But the smaller pumper fire trucks go for okay money. Found a few other strange things. Like a locomotive engine. So if you have some spare track around. later, ussexplorer

http://www.acegamez.co.uk/Mega_Pro_Game_Pr...ojector_PS2.htm here is another review. Sounds like the guy just got a bad one. As for the black and white. Well it is a cheap lcd projector screen. Games are strange anyway. Even for CRT televisions. He did like the sound though. I think he has a point about the price. later, ussexplorer -

I did not find a mount for the cieling anywhere on-line. I guess one could remove the top. drill some holes and make a mount. Since the case is just plastic and it does come with a remote. -

This place has pictures of it projected on what appears to be a wall. If that is the case. I seen a bad wall make good projectors look bad. So I assume if you put it in front of a good refelctive projection screen. It would help alot. Plus you might be able to up the watts on the bulb or get a nice blue bulb or something. I was reading around the net and apparently two things you need to look for it. Brightness and pure white level output. Also if you put to much behind the lcd panel. It will not look taht great. Also you have heat. I always wondered why they didn't use just a standard slide projector light. You can get one that are really high watt output. Just not clear white. Though I'm sure one could find one. http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewI...5756829991&rd=1 -

Yea, I know it is low quality. But If I get one. I'm going to just play movies on it. Has a S-Video in so that is a plus. I have a old dalite screen to. I know that will help tons. I figure if it isn't something like that. It will be a crt projector. Then I could just use it all the time. Later, ussexplorer -
I ran into this cheap big screen projector. It uses a common projection bulb. The type you find in slide projector. I can't seem to find a level price on it. Prices range all over the place. Took me a while to find out it used a standard $10.00 bulb. Thus, The picture is not that bright. I'm thinking of getting one. But I really don't want to get burned. Below is a link to one. The price is a little steap. They seem to be more avilable in canada and europe than the u.s. http://www.gamesis.com/ps/proj-001.htm later ussexplorer

The P.C. Monitor cut into my asking price for the neo geo system. I had 250.00 in my savings account. Then my wifes computer monitor went out on her computer. So more than ever I might have to wait this week or looking more like next week to go in and make an offer or something. I will still make it into the shop this week though. I'm not to worried about it. If I don't get the machine. I don't get it. I'll still load up on other games they have or whatever is left. later, ussexplorer

I wouldn't trust those monitors. I have seen some really good smoke clouds from some of those at a thrift store. If they even bother to come on. I already got a 17" used with 90 day warrenty for $59.00. later, ussexplorer

Yes, Thank You for asking. I will defently make it in there this Thursday. To pick up something. So I'll defently keep you guys posted. At the rate it is going though. It will probably just be some games. (Wifes computer monitor died). To bad money doesn't grow on trees. later, ussexplorer

1. Monitor not the problem. 2. Purchasing additional carts from ebay. Could be a problem $$$$$ 3. Getting it downstairs 4. Paying a fair price for it. $$$$$$ I forgot about the monitor and I think there is a few other things it needs. If one was picky. I wish my heart is as good as my checking account. I can offer it a good home. Treat it like it should be treated. I already talked to my wife about some sega cd games there and the neo geo system. It is all good with her. Up to $250.00 My checking account says no more than $200.00 and the less the better you know. To bad it will be next week until I make it in to the store. later, ussexplorer

I loved going into that place. I been waiting for my wife to get a job so I can have money to clean out there atari carts. Well hopefully I can make it in there before they close. Do you know how much for that neo geo? got $250 in the bank. To bad it is worth more than that. sigh later, ussexplorer

Thanks for the Answer. They are cheap peices of ****. That is really sad too. The sad part about that to is somebody could make a timer for the game, flip the tv on it side and make some kind of flip board, and sell it for a real game. later, ussexplorer

How to they charge a quarter for these jacks pacman machines? Are they real units or just look it? I know about the mame and pirate boards. Just never heard of something so crazy, That and a tv in the unit. later, ussexplorer
