  1. Thanks to finding a Super Mario all star cart at a thrift store for the snes. I was able to beat Super Mario II. I never realized how close I came to the end of the game before. Also I'm working on Mario Lost Levels and Up to 7-1. Much better than Mario II. I think we got jipped. laters, ussexplorer
  2. I was really pushing for a 3DO but was not interested in either because of price. The main reason I was pushing for the 3DO is it was mfg by different companies. I was preying for the end of different games on different consoles. I was so feed up with 1/2 the games on nintendo and the other half on sega. I figured that each company could put in unique features to the console but keep the games compatible. So 3DO was 3DO no matter what. Then it would expand from their. later, ussexplorer
  3. But is it a sin to take a sears six swicther board and put it in a broken atari six switcher. Especially since I like the atari one better than sears? later ussexplorer
  4. http://www.softwareandstuff.com/CES10355.html -- Unit http://www.softwareandstuff.com/media/game_page.jpg -- Game Pic / names I have yet to figure out exactly what place to post this. Since this is a new system but old games. I don't even reconize any of them. This is being sold via a computer closeout site. Figured somebody could bring some light to this. Besides the fact it is your typical 25 in 1 game controller with A/V hookup. laters, ussexplorer
  5. I don't know when I ran into the shop good will site. I believe it was in a post a while back. But, yea the good will that just opened in nampa has nothing in their electronic section except for cr*p. So I started to look and see if anything appeared from boise in that section. Nothing yet. Plus the prices on the good will site always gets jacked up. I wonder if some of the bids are put on their just to jack up the bids even higher. Their was some items on their that had bids on them and you could give that stuff away. later, ussexplorer
  6. Well, just wish I had money and if the white turns to cr*p. YOu can get that spray paint that coats plastic and paint it black. Can't you get a pal to ntsc converter to solve that color problem? Or change a few things? laters, ussexplorer
  7. I played jazz jack rabbit demo and the holiday demo. It was cool. Even had it on a novell network. Good game for a class of computer students in a middle school who was good. I did purchase jazz jack rabbit 2 one day and it included the original jazz jack rabbit. The original ran in DOS and the rabbit 2 ran in windows. Jazz 2 runs mutiple player games on the internet. Funny, I didn't know they had a mac verson. It was a mix between sonic and super mario. Mostly sonic. Great music too. Also helped sell alot of computer systems from 386 and up. Thank You Jazz Jack Rabbit. laters, ussexplorer
  8. I ran across this card in one of those internet close out places. So I looked up more information and found this. http://deech.betterbox.net/ebay/edge3d.html The card has ports for two sega Saturn joysticks and a digital joystick port. Plus came with two sega saturn game, full mpeg one playback, windows 95, sound card, and a full 4 megs of ram. As you can see this is a older card for pentium 75 class machines. laters, ussexplorer
  9. Well, I can't really say anything game. But when nintendo came out and you spouted off games like pacman and people assumed you had an nintendo. You kinda don't say anything about it being a 2600. later, ussexplorer
  10. Well I'm left handed. I have just learned to live with it. Joysticks was never really a problem and some had buttons on both sides. The playstation sticks are pretty cool since they fit in either hand and learning that buttons is just common with any game. Things I noticed: Sissors water foutain button (If not push bar in front) Mouse KeyPad (Caculator) Certain features in cars. Joystick -- Yes I never though about a left handed button. laters, ussexplorer
  11. I love legal notices. Companies can put just about anything on a product. That does not say they can back it up. I would hope that some lone arcade owner who modified a few of his games wouldn't get hit. But yea the mfg would get nailed along with any big chains. Sortof like software. They go after the companies mfg the priate cds and the big companies. Even some mid size companies. But hardly against the single users. Well except the RIAA, Direct tv, etc, etc. LOL Laters, ussexplorer
  12. I'm starting to get really pissed at the auction sights. I keep looking around and seems like they follow something like this. 20.00 for system 10.00 for s/h or 10.00 for system 15.00 for s/h I was passing systems up in thrift stores a few years ago for $5.00. I need just the system. No power supply, no joysticks, no nothing. I have yet to find my original system I purchased years ago from a yard sale. I have it on good authority it probably got chucked along with the holder it was in. Luckly the joysticks, power suppplies, games and user manuals was in another box along with my 7800. If somebody would be kind enough to send me one for a decent price (Free j/k) + s/h I'll try to talk my wife into it (Zip Code 83651 For shipping cost). To be honest it might be about one month though or so. I might get to look through my dad garage one more time this month too. I hope I can find it because them it would all be a matching system again from the original owner. No I don't have anything on trade at this time. If I did I would have posted this months, and months ago. Thank You, ussexplorer
  13. From my understanding the cartoons sortof leaned toward he was a male. Even though this seems confused at times. Including the later released comics. I searched a little trying to find the original Japan comic and have had no luck yet. The only thing I found was that the orginal Japan comic was not a book. Just some 4 or 5 picture strip comic. Then was produced as a comic book. But no luck on finding either. All I keep running into is the American releases of the comics. I did find another message board talking about the same subject. But most of the post was gathering information off the cartoon and that lead to tails being male. later, ussexplorer
  14. Tails on the original comic released in Japan was a Girl. I heard that in the original release of the sonic the hedgehog comic featured tails as a girl. It there any truth to this? I would appreciate a picture form the Japanese comic. Thank You, ussexplorer

    Crushed -

Oh, I hate that and it has happened plenty of times. You go over to a table. Get ready to pick something up and somebody runs up to you and grabs it. Then mutters out, I had first, I just set it down, etc. etc. Best yet is when you catch two people going at each other. Then the sales person shows up to find out what the problem is. Followed by the manager. Then a kind customer would walk up and say who had it first. I'm like were is the popcorn. laters, ussexplorer
  16. Okay where is the light gun and how can I plug in the secound controller? Laters, ussexplorer

    1. Most of the time I don't have the money for items. 2. Some guy wonders out with a hand full of stuff 3. I walked out with a hand full of stuff (I have been nice a few times and let a few items go out of my hand if somebody asked for it and I already owned the item.) 4. The stuff I saw was bad or overpriced. Mostly overpriced now 5. I ask and get any number of answers. (Best response. Sure come into the back room and look around) 6. Last big score I missed was 2 arcade games from a yard sale. Friend contacted me about it. I couldn't go until the next day and by that time it was two late. 7. last small score I missed was N64, PSone, and Dreamcast. Dreamcast someone else picked up. N64 and PSone. no cash on me. I think that sums up my shopping experiance. laters, ussexplorer
  18. Yes, I know the game gear is basicly the same with the exception of some colors or something. I already know that for some reason systems that didn't really do well in the U.S. got a big reception over seas. Thus, plenty more game and better games over the pond. I heard that alot with the sega saturn. Luckly the few games I have for the master system are personal favorites. Paper boy comes to mind because I was playing it today. Thanks for all the replies. later, ussexplorer
  19. I need to keep that in mind so if I see a sonic 1 for the master system. I can pick it up. thanks.
  20. Okay, I can understand why games were re-released for the Genesis from the master system. The master system in my area was not even heard of. Except for a friend who got one from out of state. What I can’t understand is how many early titles are available for both, for instance Sonic and Sonic 2. One would have think by the time they released sonic 2 it would only be for the genesis. If I would have known such great games was released on the master system. I might have dug one up on closeout, if I could talk my parents into finding one. Any light on this would help. Thanks, ussexplorer
  21. I burned a few sega cd discs without any special software and they seem to run just fine. The few disc I have are really bad. So I cleaned them up and was able to produce a copy to the hard drive and burn them at 1x/2x. The game does run alot faster since it isn't taking the time to read through the scratches. I do admit I have a few games that lock up. Like who shot jhonny rock. But it does it on both discs. Hmmm, I guess I could be doign something wrong? laters, ussexplorer
  22. Yea, I noticed that Star Trek game the other night. I know somebody would kill me but I'm thinking tastefull Jamma mod. later, ussexplorer
  23. For some reason. I wanted to tell you nice score. I'm interested in more pics of the super mario brothers / excite bike machine. I see the front. But is the back flat or cornered to go into a corner. Also is the inside all one open hole? thanks, ussexplorer
  24. To bad it is not closer. 35.00 with reserve. I question the reason their is a reserve on it since it is broke. later, ussexplorer http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewI...3293179173&rd=1
  25. Atari Store Koisk $300.00 with reserve. Hmmm that freaks me out. Dusty, missing the glass doors. later, ussexplorer http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewI...3293287090&rd=1
