  1. Ok, I'll start a waiting list. Filling the list probably will take some time. If I have enough names, I'll PM everybody on the list and ask, if there still is some interest. If there are enough people, I' ll start another production run. Richard H. 3D-printed a prototype case. You find a photo above, in this thread. Or you start a DIY-case project.
  2. Sold out! Thanks everybody for the support.
  3. Sorry for the inconvenience. Since there are many possibilities to mount the pcbs into cases, it's hard to deliver fitting mounting material or connector types for your special construction. It's just my basic guess, what you might need. Some "post-processing" will be needed in most cases.
  4. I've been on a business trip. Sorry for the delay... I was referring to the pins of transformer T502 on the power board (Pins arranged in a circular shape, Transformer inside a metal case). Those are leading to connectors EP501 to EP505 on the board and finally to the CRT-socket. Don't ask me for colors of wires, since I don't have an open Vectrex here at the moment. And wire colors might change anytime during production. Don't forget: filament heating is AC! Change your voltmeter from DC to AC-mode or you get a wrong 0V reading! You must see a red-glowing filament heater inside the CRT.
  5. Please have a look at: http://atariage.com/forums/topic/259234-multi-cartridge-for-interton-vc4000-video-computer/?do=findComment&comment=3635669 You can have them all! -Rolo
  6. Looking for a multi-cartridge for INTERTON's VC4000? Please have a look at: http://atariage.com/forums/topic/242786-multi-cartridge-for-dragoncoco-2-available/page-2?do=findComment&comment=3635662 It's a little bit hidden, but since this is part of a cartridge family, starting with a Dragon Computer Multi-cartridge, I put the thread into the Tandy-section. All information about the Multi-cartridge and the Extension cartridges can be found in this thread. It's a small, manually built, hobby project, so please accept some time for delivery. I'm making these things one by one in leisure time. -Rolo
  7. Uuups, I'm too slow, obviously! The Dragon/CoCo multi-cart to INTERTON ELECTRONICS VC4000 Video Computer Extension now is available! I made another extension cartridge for the Dragon/CoCo Multi-cart. Both cartridges connected: Connected to the INTERTON Extension cartridge, the multi-cartridge is capable of playing roms on the INTERTON VC4000, which do not require extra cartridge RAM (i.e. AI-games like Chess, Backgammon, etc.). Even some non-INTERTON roms are running. I checked these roms: Game INTERTON Cartridge Grand Prix.............1 ok Blackjack..............2 ok Olympics...............3 ok Combat.................4 ok Math 1.................5 ok Math 2.................6 ok Air/Sea Attack.........7 ok Treasure Hunt..........8 ok Super Maze.............9 ok Winter Sports.........10 ok Horse Racing..........11 ok Shooting Gallery......12 ok Chess 1...............13 not running Motocross.............14 ok Challenge!............15 ok Codebreaker...........16 ok Circus................17 ok Boxing................18 ok Space War.............19 ok Musical Games.........20 ok Capture...............21 ok Chess 2...............22 not running Pinball...............23 ok Soccer................24 ok Bowling...............25 ok Draughts..............26 not running Golf..................27 ok Cockpit...............28 ok Metropolis/Hangman....29 ok Solitaire.............30 ok Casino................31 ok Invaders..............32 ok Super Invaders........33 ok not released..........34 -- not released..........35 -- Backgammon............36 not running Spider's Web..........37 not running (bad rom-file?) 8. project update Something new is lurking. Stay tuned
  9. Won't fit. Different designs. Compatibility was not in the specs. The mounting holes are at different positions. Dimensions are the same. You'd have to mod the case accordingly.
  10. Very cool! Nice "VecJoy"-logo! Great work. Can you roughly estimate the printing cost/volume of used material?
  11. project update I produced a second batch of Videopac Extensions. First batch is almost gone. Same functionality, smaller dimensions, same price: version 1.1 dimensions: version 1.0 vs. version 1.1 Available now! Rolo
  12. I may be a bit late, but I just found this thread. A character table of all predefined characters, together with their exact bitmaps, can be found in the Appendix of the manual of Videopac 9 "Computer Programmer". Do you still need it?
  13. Ok, only registered mail. Thanks! I PM you...
  14. Again: SUPERLECTRON TV CHALLENGER SERIES 3000 Pong Tennis Hockey Squash Hard to believe, but if you play this against a humanoid, it really is big fun!
  15. Because of the attention this thread has been getting back recently, I assembled a few kits, with the components I had left. To be prepared, just in case. Only the connecting cable is not soldered in yet, and the controls are missing. I have to wait to get for my wooden case and built a prototype, before I do this. Before being able to make further ones, I have to order parts. I easily can make another four, I think. Then I would have to reorder the not so easy obtainable parts, like printed sticks, joystick cables, Japanese buttons. This is not cheap, so I would only do this, if I had a list of customers, who really buy a kit. Let's see if demand is big enough. No need to hurry. Cheers, Rolo
  16. I've been testing another compilation for the DRAGON/CoCo Multi-cart and it's Extension cartridges. 17. November 01: The "International Play Your VECTREX Day" It's coming ... Be prepared ... Buy your Dragon/CoCo Multi-cart a VECTREX Extension Cartridge! US$12.99 plus shipping http://vectrex.wikia.com/wiki/International_Play_Your_Vectrex_Day
  18. I'm curious, how many enclosures will be ordered. People, who already have bought a controller kit, which is not already built into their own boxes, please consider, there are two geometrically different versions out there, since the kits originally were not intended to be built into a uniform case. Before making a larger number of enclosures, another geometrical redesign could be taken into account. There is always room for improvements and optimizations. If more of my kits should be needed for that project, I need to know in advance, since I have to order parts and components and I have to make them. Or maybe you have some other plans for the electronics. Cheers, Rolo
  19. PS: If you have enough customers for your project, I'll provide all the information you need, sure.
  20. SUPERLECTRON TV CHALLENGER SERIES 3000 Pong Yes, it's true!
  21. @adamchevy: Richard H. wanted to do some 3D printing experiments, as far as I remember. Maybe he can tell us, if he had the time to do something like that. Sure you can build the controller kit into such a fine box. The number of sold controller kits is very limited, so I don't know how many orders you can expect. Maybe people, who want one of your cases, could register here or PM you. Of course price is decisive. I noticed, many retro collectors are operating with a very tight budget. So do not expect much more, than just the fun of doing it. It is only a hobby. I'm having a few wooden cases made at the moment. Maybe those could be useful, too. I'll post a few photos, as soon as I have them. I don't have a beer.
