There was a variation released as a box only, similar to the Intellivoice versions you have but with different artwork. I think Rev may have sold them but not 100% sure. I’m not home so I can’t send a picture, I will tomorrow if nobody else does in the meantime.

It wasn’t a mistake, it was for those people whose delicate sensibilities (or their spouse’s) are offended by the word CUNT, they can put the box on the shelf the other way round and nobody will get upset.

I share your pain. I find if I don’t have any expectations I won’t be disappointed if they lose yet again. Any outcome better than that is an unexpected bonus (or so I imagine)

Update: getting close to 10 people interested (a few have pmed me), I will probably start taking orders this weekend.

I used whatever art I could find that felt closest to Sears style whenever I could, if you send me a picture of the lockheed that would work maybe I will change it. Variants? Oh no!!!!

I did one, then since it was covid and I had some time, I designed Sears style boxes for 20 Mattel games that never had Sears releases back in the day. I printed some and sold to the usual guys who buy my boxes. Recently Rev put a Sears Burgertime on eBay and judging by the bidding people seemed interested, so I posted this to see if there was any interest if I get some of these reprinted, and apparently there was. Please note these are flip top lid style boxes, unlike the original Sears which were gatefold, but otherwise are faithful reproductions. If some of the cover art looks familiar I admit I stole several designs from similar Atari games haha. SET 1 SET 2

does anyone know what prices stores got the games from Mattel for? I remember before the crash paying 40-50 dollars Canadian for new games.

I guess this game was abandoned? Too bad, it was really good apart from a couple of minor bugs, I still play it 2 and a half years later. Would love to see it finished.

I have to say, I thought this would be an April fools prank, like Intellivision Doom a few years ago, but it's an actual playable game. And Rev has never looked better, new haircut?
