  1. If I were into coding, I'd do a conversion of artillery duel. This title was originally released for the astrocade system. 160x102 - same resolution, 4 colors. Maybe as 2 player only version, but I can imagine this could be a nice one.. Don't you think so? Cheers pkx
  2. Just checked this finally out - nice indeed. I think that atari decided to go the original way in first place because this 2000 version seems to be a bit overloaded for the Lynx maybe - The graphics around the action screen and letters are hard to read and so on... Still, I like this extra option and it's great that its possible anyway
  3. Unfortunately. I mean, we cannot expect or demand such option, but it's such a pity - to choose between the current, almost "bug-free" NES firmware OR the older JB fw - if using the older JB fw, some cores just arent as complete/compatible as on other platforms - not to have the cart adapters available (at least to build them by oneself) for the other JB-cores Maybe, kevtris...!? one day.. maybe... Come on, finish what ya started
  4. Hello @kevtris, will there be a JB firmware of the recent nt mini noir update (1.3)? That woluld be nice...
  5. Good question, but I can agree and especially like the lynx version. For a long time I regularly played a few rounds of shanghai before sleeping. I used the simplified tile set and also beat every level. It's one of my few lynx originals I've kept.
  6. ...still looking for the download site 😕 found it
  7. Thanx. Just ordered two.
  8. Hello, Regretting my sell out a few years ago, I came across 2 Lynx in the last days, which are both generally functioning. I dont know why, but the power LED of the Lynx II isnt working anymore, after a few minutes testing. How could this be? As for the Lynx I, the screen plastic glass is quite scratchy - - WHERE can I buy a replacement glass for the Lynx I? (preferably here in the EU) - WHAT kind of LED is needed in the L II? Revards Oliver
  9. Better ask Kev "open source" - what do YOU think? Obviously no.
  10. new JB available - famicom network controller now works https://github.com/SmokeMonsterPacks/Nt-Mini-Noir-Jailbreak
  11. I wonder if there'll ever be any adapters... dreaming of an adapter for Genesis carts... ?
  12. Hmmmm... Pokemon - JB... GameBoy... probably..!? Come on, what else? @Steven Pendleton yeah, forget about RTC games in this case.
  13. Right, with the Noir. Pad and buttons are working fine (tested in nes mode) , but my intention was to use the num pad for coleco games... How about the old mini and coleco? Can you test, just to be curious ..?
  14. ...ordered this controller one day after the JB came out to use it with the coleco core, couldn't predict that the status "useful" changes into "useless" (regarding the coleco core; haven't tested others yet) Anyway, @kevtris , will you add support for that controller in a future firmware?
  15. IIRC, I just wanted to have the latest version - so I muste have used the 2016-files posted here... my coleco is under construction ATM. I could check with another one, though.... wongo, just give it a try, meanwhile
  16. OK, now how can I "extract" the BIN from a CAR file, how do I reomve the header?
  17. I don't know how to do this. Ahhm... how can I do this?
  18. Hello, is there a way to get the 32kb Williams CARs to work?
  19. The question is not about the difference but rather where to find them. On sites like Atarimania or in archives, I always find .rom or .bin.
  20. Hello, a question about that *.car file format: all i have found is .rom or .bin - they surely work but are there also collections of car-files available or is it something I have to covert with the specific tool? But as the roms and bins are working, why should I? I'm a bit irritated, please help...
  21. I guess I'd go for one uno cart, too - just one question: are there any classic games (no "modern" releases) that exceed the 128k limit? I am just looking for a way to be able to play all classic XL games. Already have a SIO2SD...
  22. Got help from kamshaft: The solution for him (and now for me, too) was to use "core_firmware.bin" ONLY (leave out "core_hardware.bin" and "core_boot.rom") for the first flash. After that has passed, copy the other two files to the card and flash again.
  23. yes, i pout the files in the folder and switched on the console, as explained. i dont think that it bricked anything because i can still use my original sd card. plus, the versions shown in my screenshot above havent changed, so i guess that nothing actually happened. it seems that the process ha been initialized but nothing more. will try with my backup fw... same same with the backup fw
