I have the same and they both are great. My wife uses the G-Pad as a kind of laptop and it runs great for a pad (no phone option unfortunately). I'm happy with my LG phone as well the touch screen works great and the picture is cl;ear and bright. Lots of good options with the android OS too.

I had a galaxy relay and last night it just crapped out. I had it since late 2012 And it was time to upgrade to something newer. They suggested the LG as they are more durable and better quality than Samsung. The phone is a brick! It barely fits in my pocket lol. I like that you can double tap the screen to turn on or off.
