  A couple interesting facts. Daryl Hall's real last name is Hohl, which sounds more like "hole." That's why they made this joke on their first LP: http://cps-static.rovicorp.com/3/JPG_400/MI0001/893/MI0001893752.jpg?partner=allrovi.com
  
  Secondly, they always referred to themselves as Daryl Hall and John Oates and never embraced the Hall & Oates moniker.
