  2. First time I played it was in 1993. I got Super Mario All-Stars for Christmas and I wanted that game due to "The Lost Levels". I wanted to try it out and challenge it. I first heard of it in 1992 when reading the Mario Mania magazine. It took me a couple of days to beat the entire game (D-4) as I did it without warping just to explore everything. And also the turtle hopping trick in 1-1 helps too. Some of the levels are fun to play and some are rediculously hard due to the crazy level designs. But I find it to be a fun game to play if I am in the mood for a good challenge. It is more of a hack than a true sequel. I own it for Mario All-Stars for the SNES, A repro NES cart, the disc for the Famicom Disk System, Super Mario Deluxe for Game Boy Color, and on the Virtual Console for the Wii. I prefer the 8 bit version over the 16 bit. A funny note is you access worlds A-D by beating 8-4 or 9-4 if you warp or not in the SNES version. But have to complete 8-4 8 times in the 8 bit version as you get 1 star for completion and as you get 8 you hold A + Start to access.
  3. Congratulations Scott!! Hope Grace will live a wonderful, happy, and healthy life. Make sure she gets into gaming!!

  5. Sorry this is late, but it's well worth the wait. How much are you willing to spend? I don't lowball.
  6. Purchased another Light Sixer VCS for the gameroom. All clean inside and out plus I repainted the trim around the cart slot bezel plate. Serial #: 568090840 Manufactured by Atari-Wong in Hong Kong Model: NTSC Has speaker slits and channel 2 and 3 switch underneath. No manufacture date labelled on paper taped to RF shielding but probably around 1980. Also red service sticker
  7. It's a great game but can get really tedious, repetitive, and boring. I scored the maximum possible score of 1,000,000 before but it takes 5 hours to do it. Once you do so the score changes to all exclamation points.
  8. One of the benefits of being a subscriber to the site is getting a stock share.
  9. That almost covers all of the 2600 Activision games submitted I believe only 4 were not guessed altogether which would be Frostbite, Robot Tank, Sky Jinks, and River Raid 2. It's safe to say we will close it early. Anyways one lucky person will win the card and that mystery cart has been guessed. So here is the youtube video to reveal the cart. http://youtu.be/EnIRfQ6t1C4
  10. Agree! It is hard to pick 10. Here are some of my honorable mentions. Magic Sword (1990) Star Wars (1983) Kangaroo (1982) GORF (1981) Tron (1982) Defender (1981) Space Firebird (1980)

  13. Howdy peeps!! In celebration of my 4 years of being on atariage I thought I would again do a gift card prize giveaway as a way to show appreciation to the fine community on the site. But in order to get it, you have to be the first to correctly guess the mystery Atari 2600 Activision cart. The contest will run until Midnight Saturday May 28, 2016. I already have a video made to reveal the mystery game and once the deadline approaches I will upload the video via youtube in the forum. And whoever guesses the correct game first I will send you a PM. Only one guess per person. And in case multiple people guess the same game it is credited to the first person that guessed it. Best of luck to everyone!! Note: Sorry, the Heavy Sixers pictured are not included as part of the prize.
  14. In a few days it will mark 4 years of being a member on atariage and instead of wishing me a happy 4 years, it's how did I manage to put up with a crazy jackass on here.

13 years and I can't remember how the hell I ended up here. It's like getting drunk and waking up in a strange bed, wondering who stripped you naked for bed last night.
