Some great suggestions there. Thanks. You're right some shelving would work really well in there. It's just a matter of doing it. We just moved last year but I haven't done anything with it other than throw stuff in and not bother reorganizing whenever I put something. Under the stop sign actually is a low and wide bookshelf that houses my board/card games. I could always move that into the hallway. I also don't like how I have part carpet and part linoleum crap flooring so one of these I may change that too. I actually usually move cushioned folding chairs down whenever I have people over. You're right, the stools are not comfortable at all. They were things I bought way back in the day thinking they would be handy.
What's a good rom to look for within my set to see that I have a full collection such as this one? I downloaded a different link from a different post from the forum.
Thanks for the tip. Unfortunately, my files were larger than 2MB so I uploaded them and here are the links of a couple photos of my setup. Nothing fancy as it's a very small space for me to deal with and I haven't done much with it except having a designated area instead of inside a closet. I did end up getting a 25" CRT because I answered a CL ad only to find out they didn't know they had a 25" instead of a 19". So now my Commodore monitor can't stack below or on top of the 25". So that's more than likely temporary but it's nice to have a TV to be able to use for Atari/Vic-20/DVD. My C64 is currently not working so it doesn't really matter much that I moved the monitor into a closet to start gathering dust.

I have about a quarter of our finished area of the basement.
The reason I don't use the TV on the main floor is because generally I like to save that for actual TV as my wife is not a fan of playing video games.
I may have to join in on this as this is one of my favorites even though I suck at it. I have no idea what my high score would be. You definitely have to have paddles in good shape to last very long.
Right now I have my atari 2600, commodore vic 20, c64 crammed on a very small folding table. All the cartridges and disks are all in 3 copy paper boxes. And then I have 3 arcade games. I was going to post a photo on here but have no idea how to.
I would like to have any record on any game but i doubt that will ever happen. i don't have enough attention span as some of these people that are willing to play the same game over and over and learn tedious tricks. I think it would be awesome though and i do respect them.
Thanks Schizophretard. You are right. Now I understand whereas I didn't when I wrote my original post/question. I appreciate everyone's comments. I'm still torn which way I'm going but probably going to get a CRT and LCD and compare them to see if I can tell the difference. And then decide if I need to cram them both down there or just have one or the other.
Excellent. Thanks. I may have to look into that. That's about the right size I'm looking for too. I see you got quite a few comments on your thread too. I tried searching for a thread like that but was unsuccessful.
When I tried it on my 42" LCD, I did not notice any lag compared that of on my old 13" CRT. It played quite well actually! That's perhaps why I didn't know what people were talking about on here until your earlier comment.
Good point. I never thought of it along those lines. Perhaps a CRT is truly the ideal way to go. I just hate the bulkiness of one and having to have both that and an LCD for TV purposes..
