Atari 2600 Homebrew games that come in a UGC...
YANDMAN replied to Crazy Climber's topic in Atari 2600
lexan cases is the way to go -
I think the truly most impressive is Star wars Arcade, when you look to the original and the fact is is a powerful vector beast and what was pulled of on the 2600 i think its amazing. I never had the chance to play this game when it was released but i would of lost my mind. Jr Pac-Man is also very good as is centipede, millipede, Asteroids, Battlezone, Road Runner, Wizard of Wor, Ms Pac-Man, Q-bert, Defender 2, Solar Fox, spy Hunter, Spy hunter is very good, Congo Bongo, Tapper is excellent, Berzerk, pengo..........Wow its only at times like these that you remember how many fantastic games this wonderous system has.

Ha ha i came across this and started reading the original posts and thought..........what the fuck is going on this obviously exists.........then i saw the 2008 date ha ha Thank you again perry and everyone that made this thing real its amazing as is your skills.

I have always rated the game, whats not to like, it has good music, good gameplay, the graphics are a pretty goor rendition of the arcade sprites, the levels look similar
-
Congratulations man, this is great i really dig it and would love a cart version, I love old school arcade style games.
-
Dude you are the man, This is got me sooooooooo excited, I very nearly built a Bosconian cabinet last year but made something else in the end. yeah all my tv's even my CRT's all support 60fps its something i specifically look for in older tv's. Whats your lead time to finishing the project do you think?
-
This is just fantastic i cannot wait to play this, is there going to be a PAL version......please............please, Ive lost track of the many good games coming out on both 2600 and 7800 all you guys do an amazing job, I hope one day to be able to add to this.

I have no idea, The original company was spelt with an 'S' Syzygy i just put in the Z for obvious reasons and to pay homage to the atari history, Whether Curt has trademarked it also using a Z i wouldnt know, i just thought i was being clever

In all seriousness i think the Legend of Bentley would be absolutely fantastic it would just make sense.

Another thought why dont you have another play mode where by you have two timed two minute halves in which to score the most points and call it the Atari Bowl -
Touchdown Challenge - My first 7800basic game
YANDMAN replied to Atarius Maximus's topic in Atari 7800 Programming
Just got round to trying this game out and i gotta say its a lot of fun and deceptively difficult, The hit detection feels a litle off as sometimes i go through gaps that are wide enough but still get tackled but yeah i like it. it would be cool if you could add a field goal screen after each touch down just to change it up a little bit. -
