yes of course it does, I actually have two sealed copies at home, The 7800 didn't always launch with asteroids built in.

Its cool man i wasn't knocking your response what i meant was just give it a go, Im not taking anything away from what Yurkie does as people obviously like it, But yes like all controllers there is a metal rod running through it of which you can easily hack saw the top off and remove the casing, Give it a go and liberate all your wonderings.

Holy crap there are a lot of in depth wants on previous posts, would it be too hard to make scanlines selectable in mess just like mame that's all i would like?

Once again i wake up to find genius's at work on another astounding project, I wish i knew something about programming so that i could help with this stuff but i simply dont, But i have cash and i will happily throw it at this project take my money please. Atari consoles the future!

This isnt related or anything that can help you but something very odd happened with my 7800 last night, Now nearly all my pal consoles tune in on the same channel and that channel has been set since about 89-90' when i got my NES, last night i was playing some NES then switched over to 7800 all on same tv same channel no issues, I then dug out my Super NES as i picked up a new game last night, plugged it in with same rf on same channel it came straight on no problems, I thought i would have a few games on pav-man collection before wrapping it up for the night but when i switched back over to my 7800 it had lost its tuning, re-tuned to the same channel and all was well again.

I had to have it, Im blown away by this game every time i turn it on, I just played the latest version and its incredible, This is actually my favourite incarnation of the game to date, With it being easier its so much more playable and fun..Goooooooooooooooooooooo Joe hes doing something incredible here

I dont know why i didnt share these pics before, Joe was kind enough to allow me to make a custom of this game, it is the earlier version without the hammer but i simply had to play this on my original hardware, This game is stupendously good and i look for ward to either buying or making another with the full version, Anyways here is my cart i made

There is absolutely no difference in anything as with regards to the controllers in different territory machines, The only differences are obviously in the display, Im gonna make a 2600 version next and then ill come back to 7800 ones.

I hate the way classic machines look on modern tv's, I have a garage full of crt's they are disappearing at an alarming rate i suggest you get one and maybe a couple, My 7800 looks absolutely terrible on my lcd, i would go so far to say unplayable

I only use crt's for mine, i tried my 7800 on my lcd and it looked horrible.

I wanted a spare 7800 and believe it or not i purchased three.........yes three separate systems all in good boxed condition and they are all like this, I tested them on the same tv my current 7800 is tuned to but there is no picture and when i recycle on the tune it will never find a setting so it must be RF, Have you tried re-tuning, If it doesn't find it i would say you have the same issue, One seller wanted the console back the other two said throw them away i obviously wasn't going to do that but i think i now have two mod candidates, The only issue i have is being in the u.k i dont use s-video i want an RGB scart mod but im not sure one exists.

I never saw this stay frosty game before, is it available anywhere it looks really cool.

I dont know how i missed this game, but i definitely want to purchase one, please advise me when this is possible it looks great.
