Hi, Thanks for the nice feedback We are planning to do an iPad version, it should be released in Summer 2012 (i hope). Android is unfortunately not on the list yet, the name "Ballerburg" is already taken there by another, much simpler game ... but we will, if the iOS version is successful enough we might consider doing it all over again for Android :-)

Actually, yes, we did the game based on the original source code from Atari Ballerburg, many algorithms (like the AI, or the economyc simulation) were taken as close as possible ... replicating the old look & feel on the iPhone was not really easy but we did as good as we could :-) We were in contact with Eckhard Kruse, the developer of the original Ballerburg - he is not directly related with or involved in the project, but he gave us the permission to do this iPhone version and he also pretty liked the result :-)

Atari-ST gamers who played on the ST in the 80s / early 90s may very well know the cult classic Ballerburg (so-called mother of artillery games, like Worms or Angry Birds), there is a almost 1:1 remake out for a while for iOS, this time not only in German, but also in English Two castles, a mountain in between, cannons, wind and limited resources and inhabitants which have to be managed.
