yeah a walkthrough really helps. Just when I made it to that final field and the "oasis" where you can save the game, I realized I would have to spend weeks in a row just trying to defeat enemies there. Your characters just won't be strong enough to even get to the boss for a long time

of course, that's not much different from getting to the last dungeon of Final Fantasy. You have to do the same thing there

Yea, Final Fantasy II (the real one) is a lot like that too... I never did finish it... Then I let someone borrow the game & never got it back... I recently started it again on PSP... I got to Astaroth, one of the last bosses, and just died, a lot.
