  1. Have you read any of this thread? Investors in, and employees of, Mike's empire are out thousands of dollars by dodgy business dealings and asset stripping. Oh, and your shift key is broken.
  2. He does sales but also I think designs solutions to a degree. People call him and tell him what they want and he will either provide a solution to fit or hand it to engineering. I think.
  3. In legal terms it also "makes time of the essence." A court (if it came to that) would not see it as an unreasonable period while it also enforces a legal deadline. Or they could just be nice people.
  4. That Carlsen lived near a Radio Shack or recycling Centre.
  5. We have offered to host the interview for triverse if he needs us to do that. Meanwhile, we wait.
  6. ... or spell "concept." http://www.retrogamingroundup.com/donate.php I'd like to be a fly on the wall when they crack it open.
  7. Hehe. We have a donation button on the site Have at it
  8. Err, no. That's not the reason. Mike would have just got somebody else to do the video. We have a winner. It is a monthly show but we also put out special shows in between when the need arises and it has arisen. We did a show a day during E3 once. We will do this friday and it will be out either the same day or Saturday, or your money back.

  10. When I saw Piko's comments about Mike apparently not knowing what was inside the case at the Toy Fair, part of me could believe it. A hardware guy could baffle him with science and tell him A was in the box when it was actually B, and Mike would not know the difference and might take his word for it. He wouldn't necessarily look for more information than he wanted to hear. You could show him a SNES motherboard and he would not know it was a SNES motherboard. Add in the power supply and SNES carts and AV cable etc and things become clearer, even to Mike. An example of that is when I flew in to Vegas to surprise him at CGE 2012. He walked into the bathroom where I was sat on the can with my trousers down as though in process. He then slammed the door shut and said to Scott "There's somebody in there that looks like UK MIke." He then carried on his previous conversation as though nothing had happened and chose not to do anything with that information. However, as things have come to light, it is quite clear that he has no hardware, even after all this time, he has no hardware and he certainly knows that. He cancelled the Kickstarter for a reason and that reason may come to light at some point but rest assured he cancelled it for a reason. Mike has verbal diarrhoea as we know and name checks people he may have had an email from and repeats buzzwords he is told like FPGA and ARM etc but he absolutely knows he has no hardware and is caught so deep in the lie he has to keep going. Just why others such as David Giltinan propagate the lie I couldn't say. Are they also being hoodwinked by Mike or are they in it? I don't know that but what I do know is that Mike is flat out lying.
  11. Yes it is as a group discussion but Scott covers it in the Hardware Flashback too.
  12. Probably not here but expect it to be said during a future interview, in much the same way that he threw John Carlsen under the bus, claiming to not know about his video.
  13. HAHAHAHAHA!!!!! That video should be made and would be as viral as "Kill screen coming up! There's a Donkey Kong kill screen coming up!"
  14. Haha! Simultaneous post. Mine, hermetic. Scott's, a wordy tome worthy of reading, both the narrative and between the lines. The original email I had sent to Mike was to ask him to sell the molds and move on. Not to me, I might add.
  15. Erm, yes. I was one of two recipients of the email which was a reply to one I had sent him the day before. While brief, it seemed to suggest one of two things, neither of which I was inclined to follow up on. (1) He was unaware the fake with the DVR card had been posted. (2) He knew it had been posted but was surprised it had been uncovered as a fake.
  16. I did that, only my game is free. It's a text adventure.
  17. I was thinking about that too. This is the very place that Mike posted about our Ted Dabney interivew when he was drunk. We had the interview recorded and were sitting on it until the podcast came out, but Mike drunkenly posted here that we had done it. We had to get the show out before anybody realised Ted was on the scene and got an interview out before us. Thos were the days. I said earlier, Steve is a friend, a gent and would be a welcome guest but I doubt we would get a candid interview before the end of the Kickstarter, and only then if it fails. I hope we can do it then.
  18. Mike has tried to get in touch but not to appear on the show as a guest but to try and smooth over the wrongs he has done with a coke and a smile. That is not going to happen. Having the "team" on the show has been shown to be no way of getting to the truth. Can you really see Mike coming on RGR and admitting it was a SNES mini? You would just the standard marketing flannel again. Mike would be welcome on the show as a guest if what we really got was the truth, and if he wants to come on and set the record straight about the whole project from inception through various teams and funding routes to not one but two fake prototypes then we would be more than happy to do that. I don't see it happening.
