  1. the first Saturn I had was a 4mb cart with ability to play imports, i don't recall the name. Now I have an Action Replay which is 4mb cart, imports, plus has a bunch of codes for all region games built in. It works very well and is pretty cheap, that would be your best way if you already own a Saturn.
  2. I wanted to post this in case there were any Sega Saturn fans out there. One project that I wanted to do with my Youtube page was to show that there are import games that can be easily played without any knowledge of the Japanese language. House of the Dead is a perfect example of import over domestic with price being the main issue. Japanese HOTD I got for less than $30 shipped. U.S. HOTD will run you if lucky, around $100. I have more import videos on the site if anybody is interested and I plan on doing more as I buy more import games. Thanks all. Hopefully this helps someone because this game is a pretty amazing game on the Saturn and is quite affordable when imported.
  3. it looks correct to me, i didn't see the other manual but I know he was waiting to send out orders until new manuals arrived.
  4. I would say The Dreadnaught Factor and Realsports Baseball are a couple other titles that come to mind.
  5. thanks both. I hope this video takes off like my N-gage video did and can help raise a little awareness that games like this are out there and are still being made.
  6. it would've been better than the disaster of a gameboy version.
  7. Here is my review for the 5200 version of Tempest!! Covering the packaging to the game play. I used both the standard controller and trackball and gave my opinions of both. Enjoy.
  8. yep i stand corrected. my gf has an english degree and said that though both are commonly used and unless someone is being extremely scrutinizing, a or an is acceptable though a is grammatically correct, sorry to hijack the post into a grammar debate.
  9. got mine, review uploading now, i'll post a new thread when it's done. The only manual mistake i found, which honestly who gives a flying damn is "a unique" should be "an unique" again, who the hell cares, and also I did get the game to glitch which I show in the review.
  10. i have a system review on my channel. I did NOT grow up with it, and actually trashed the system when i didn't own it. now that i own it, it's my favorite classic system.
  11. the 5200 is my favorite classic system. I wish i had a better way of recording gameplay though, i refuse to use emulation.
  12. got my shipping confirmation too, pretty sweet, can't wait. i'm holding off on doing any more videos for my channel until this arrives!!
  13. sweet, really excited, more excited for this than the new Bioshock.
  14. i plan on doing it on my youtube channel as soon as I get it as well to help get the word out too.
  15. i have 3. Neo-geo MVS 4 slot, Devastators, and World Series the Season.
  16. i have a cybiko xtreme, it was fun til it died, the battery in it sucks and you can't replace them. I guess it would be cheapest since all the games are download games, maybe the mp3 add on would be the most expensive piece.
  17. i was going to suggest the Game.com too, the most expensive piece in that collection I believe would be the pocket version of the system.
  18. i bought this game brand new at Electronic Boutique in Monroeville PA, was one of the lucky store to carry it, couldn't wait to play it and was extremely disappointed when I did. I still regret selling my entire Jaguar collection a couple of years ago. Maybe someday I'll get this game again and have another go.
  19. ooooohhhhh swweeeet...can't wait to get it, really excited now.
  20. how do you know if you got boxed copy or not, just a surprise when it comes in the mail? i ordered mine last Tuesday so hoping I was lucky enough to get the box and manual.
  21. got mine coming, can't wait to review it.
  22. the only rule i have is to not buy something i already own UNLESS the seller will not separate something and the lot has something I need or really want.
  23. The N64 should have been superior to both for 2nd because it was cartridge based. The Saturn would be next with the 4mb cart, PS1 sucked at 2d because of loading. 2d is actually more taxing because it has to load each frame for each level/fight, etc. When you have a cart that already has all the data in much faster to access RAM or the data can be loaded into a RAM cart like the Saturn, it can load everything at one time. This is why Xmen vs Street Fighter and other 2d fighters are way superior than the PS1 versions. I think the reason you didn't see more was that it was pretty much felt through the industry that 2d was dead.
  24. I agree 100% and I have gotten rid of all dupe carts other than label variants.
