A decent project, not 100% complete, roughly 90% complete, I still have some more shelving to put up and baseboard, as well as maybe some posters and stuff. It covers most of my collection less a Wii that is not in the game room and I didn't have my 360 down there yet. Have a look, thanks for watching. Also, if anybody was wondering, the projector projects 106" it's pretty sweet. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QbmTC7ZFFlY

sometimes you can't help it. If you go somewhere, flea market, and there's something you have to have but the seller won't separate anything, I end up buying. I did end up selling most of my duplicate systems, but there's some I just can't. I have I think 6 different Atari 2600's and 3 GameGears. I have maybe 7 Gameboys, 3 Dreamcasts, and 2 3do's and two TI/84s and 2 Odyssey 2's. I have no desire to part with any of them. I have sold in the past though dupe systems like N64s. The other thing though as well, is there's also system variants. For example, when I got my 2nd Odyssey 2, which I only bought because it came with the box, I noticed it was physically different than my other Odyssey, so I'll definitely keep them both.

great, I'll be watching out for release dates. I haven't done a homebrew review yet, I did back in the day when I had my GP32, but I think this would make a great first, plus hopefully on a side note, maybe raise some more awareness of a homebrew scene for the Lynx.

will this be an cart release? I would love to get my hands on one to review, I have a feeling it's going to be amazing!!

The Battlecruiser Dilemma (Dreadnaught Factor clone)
BrutallyHonestGamer replied to jbanes's topic in Atari 5200
The Dreadnaught Factor is my favorite 5200 game. I would love to see a remake, but I don't know if I could get used to it being side scrolling versus vertical scrolling. I can tell by how the ship moves though that the game play is accurately recreated.. nice work. -
I wanted to share a link to a playlist from my Youtube channel that showcases my Odyssey 2 stuff and some of the cool stuff I have found for it over the years. Thanks

Panasonic 3DO & Amiga CD32 debate. Which one?
BrutallyHonestGamer replied to ydcl's topic in 3DO Interactive Multiplayer
I have a couple of 3do's both work perfectly fine. I take a look at them there. I like the 3do because of the type of games it had, and some being more unusual I guess is the proper word. There's very unique and fun titles on the 3do to be found -
Rare, collectable, and actually fun
BrutallyHonestGamer replied to WispFollower's topic in Classic Console Discussion
I don't think they're rare, but I have some imports for Saturn that are really fun, like Drift King 97, Last Bronx, Dead or Alive. I have a couple import Mega Drive games too that are decent like Kabuki fighter I think is the name. -
i also agree that the 5200 controllers are great. I don't think I've had a problem with any game, and I have a lot, and some conversions. The only game I think I have that I could complain about is Donkey Kong Jr, but for all I know, the game itself didn't have good controls, since it's a conversion.

I'll tell you about an opposite experience. I bought Towers II for Jaguar, brand new when it came out. I was lucky enough to be close to one of the stores that still sold Jaguar games. $60 back then, i bring it home, me and my cousin gather around the tv and wow, what a total pile of crap that game was. -
is this thing an actual GBA clone?
BrutallyHonestGamer replied to toptenmaterial's topic in Classic Console Discussion
if you want something for emulation might as well go for a GP32 or GP2X or something newer, though a GP32 still works perfectly fine for classic systems before Neo-Geo. -
so my girlfriend dropped my 5200
BrutallyHonestGamer replied to BrutallyHonestGamer's topic in Atari 5200
yeah she won't let me post pics, so the only thing I have is this video from my youtube channel that she let me keep on there. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=p0KHLYj-5Yo -
so my girlfriend dropped my 5200
BrutallyHonestGamer replied to BrutallyHonestGamer's topic in Atari 5200
she's not allowed to touch any more of my systems, and yes she loves gaming and thinks my collection is cool and wants to expand it, unlike my ex-wife, which was not so on board with my gaming hobby. i guess she can stay. -

lol "This item is a palm game console with color LCD screen, it has built-in games, also support card catridge. Classic games like Super Mari, Tank, will make you recall your fun once." yeah recall all the fun with TANK and Super MARI and the screen shows Super Mario 64, got to love the china clones. -
whats your rarest console?
BrutallyHonestGamer replied to ilovethevectrex's topic in Classic Console Discussion
my rarest would be Vectrex Watara Supervision 20th Anniversary Gundam Wonderswan -
I'm building a game room in my basement and was transporting systems and she drops the 5200. So now the front plate is cracked and comes off...should I dump her or let this one slide?

So I've been kicking around the idea of going to local schools to see if they still have old Apple II computers, software, etc that they might be willing to part with. With as many as there were back in the day, I figure there's probably some still floating out there and what are they going to do with them? Has anybody else asked their local school if they still had their 80's computer stuff laying around?

ok i was able to almost duplicate your problem. I tried the game with the trackball, steering was fine, but there was no way to change gears from low to high. I then after the race was over and the game STILL ON, unplugged the trackball and plugged in the regular controller. I started a new race and the car would steer to the left the entire time. So did you have maybe the standard controller plugged in and swapped for the trackball when the game is on? Pole position dosn't seem to like controller swapping, game has to be turned off then back on for proper steering.
-
i don't think every game is made to work with the trackball. I have all those games as well, and I'm sorry but I'm going off of memory, but the only games that I have that I remember work properly with track ball is Missle Command and Centepede. Maybe after work I'll try Pole Position and see and report back.
-
if we are going to be realistic, Tempest with trackball support would be awesome. Other than that, maybe a run and gun like Commando or Ikari Warriors would be cool too.

i do not put it there as i don't want the lid open with cords coming out.
