  1. how many versions of the o2 are there? Does anybody know? I noticed both of mine are different and wondered just how many variations there are.
  2. that batman lynx is awesome, good job on that.
  3. yeah i need to get back into it. When I got my first one many years ago I actively collected what I could find, and for some reason I just stopped.
  4. Well I got Craigslist lucky and scored an Odyssey 2 with it's box and 5 games in really good shape for $20. So I decided to make a video of my entire Odyssey 2 collection. When I was gathering up the games I was surprised at how many I had, though there were quite a few duplicates. Thanks.
  5. with this problem on the Lynx 1systems, has anybody custom painted their Lynx 1's?
  6. there's a ton of these on Ebay I saw, and I wondered the same thing how do you tell if they are real or fakes? It's not like 2600 or 5200 prototypes that have the label on the cart.
  7. i didn't know the paint wore off easily, it's the first picture i've seen with one looking that bad.
  8. eBay Auction -- Item Number: 261080757779 what's even sadder is what the guy wants for the poor Lynx, but still, what happened to this one??!???
  9. that's a sweet collection. I used my QD for years as my cell phone and I loved it. i don't have that many games maybe a dozen or so, but I really did enjoy the system. THe only drawback is that you have to have a sim card in in order for it to work, unless someone knows a work around. i use my old ATT sim card so no problem for me. If you like sports games, even if you don't care for soccer, play FIFA< it's amazingly fun
  10. i'm currently building my 'man cave' and right now it's about 76% complete. Everything is displayed except the Atari 2600 and 5200 that are hooked up to an old TV. The TV in my living room currently has my Dreamcast, Saturn, 3do, Xbox 360 and Wii hooked up. Once my game room is done, all but the Wii will be moved into the room and will be able to hook into my projector for 106"+ of gaming goodness. So I guess I'm upgrading vs downgrading.
  11. it doesn't work, I've tried. at least the Neo-geo ones.
  12. great question. and one I had to think about for a while as I've been gaming since the days of Atari 2600 but I think the most fun I had with gaming was with my SNES, so I'd have to say 16 bit era.
  13. I recently did a video to show my entire Lynx collection as well as to show the system as well. One of my favorite systems, the Lynx gets a lot of love and is played often in my household. I tried to be quick so the video didn't go for that long, so I'm sorry if I had left out some details, the games I'll get more in depth with individual game reviews. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=s9E9QABy0Xw Thanks, hope you enjoy.
  14. jesus all the guy wants is an estimate. The two games are common and are not going to be that much. The system itself is going to be what sells it. I would estimate, everything in good working and cosmetic condition could sell probably easy between $250 and $300. You might be able to get $325-$350 if your patient. The systems still seem to be relatively "cheap" the games are what makes the AES expensive, unfortunately nobody is going to pay much for AOF1 and2. I bought AOF2 at a local game store for $20 AES.
  15. i always assumed the rarity guide on this site listed all the games, so I printed it out and marked what I have and use it for when I'm collecting to know what and what I don't have.
  16. i don't know how relevant this is to your question, but I will say I have a Lynx II and i thoroughly enjoy it.
  17. got mine and it was fine other than just some cleaning to the ball. works good. good luck.
  18. i would say Jag vs. Sega 32x is more comparable. The Jag could barely do 16-bit quality games let alone 32 bit or N64 games. but still, getting the red screen of death everytime i turned the system on makes the Jag the clear winner here.
  19. can't say I do. been playing since I was 3, there's 8mm film of me playing Asteroids on the 2600 lol.
  20. i have a question in regards to this. i recently watched a vid regarding NES hacks that were made to carts. The vid showed a couple with $50 price tags, is it legal to sell hacks?
  21. i have a couple of 8-bit to 5200 games, would those count? SpyHunter and Donkey Kong Jr.
