  1. I liked it. however, once I figured out how it was working I basically named all the 7800 games I could think of then read the clues later.
  2. Hello again. One of my main focuses I wanted with my Youtube page was to buy Japanese import games and play them to see how much knowledge would be needed of the language to ENJOY the game. As most of you already probably know the Saturn was much more popular in Japan, and importing games can really increase enjoyment of the system. The Saturn is one of my favorite systems, and I wanted to share a recent video review I did of an outstanding racing game that I was lucky enough to stumble upon at a flea market. If you are looking for a very good and challenging racing game, then look no further. I consider this a must have for any Saturn fan, and luckily enough, you can very easily enjoy this game with little to no knowledge of the Japanese language. Thanks.
  3. last one I got at The Exchange, $10 CIB. Even though I have a bunch, I couldn't pass up a CIB at that price.
  4. That's awesome. good job. Dark Chambers is it?? The Guantlet type game that was on the 2600 and 7800 is one of my favs, so Guantlet on the 5200 should be sweet. How many sprites were you able to have on screen at a time?
  5. that's bad, even the extremely overpriced junk store in my area still sells 2600 games at $1.99 each. Just everything else they sell is waaaayy over priced.
  6. Here is a video review of my Neo-Geo 4 slot cabinet. One of my favorite things I own period. I love the machine, and a machine that someone would have to pry from my cold dead hands before I give it up. Thanks for watching.
  7. My favorite item in my collection. I take a quick look at the inside and outside of an official Atari 5200 prototype cart. Thanks for watching.
  8. i don't claim to say it was different, i never played the arcade version. What I was saying was that I didn't remember the 2600 version playing this way. EDIT: I'm building a new game room, but I just got my old tv and hooked up the 5200 and it was doing the same thing, so I guess that is how breakout is. It was just surprising because I didn't remember it being that way.
  9. wow, first rental. i don't have a clue, would've been NES, the only one i can remember is Battletoads because I remember me and my friend jamming to the pause screen music. Havent rented a game since the days of SNES
  10. Thanks AtariLeaf, subbed too, thanks for the suggestions.
  11. i can get the video to the pc to edit, the scan lines from the tv look terrible. There are no scan lines when recording on an HDTV, do 2600 games look ok on HDTVs?
  12. I don't remember these being out a few years ago, they are released for the 40th Anniversary and to advertise the ipod app.
  13. lol i thought about not opening, but as much as my kid likes taco bell i figured I'd get more and those I will leave unsealed.
  14. Taco Bell is packaging Atari games for PC in their kids meals. I've only got Asteroids and Breakout so far, has anybody else got these? Here's my review: If anybody else has these, or any other games, what are your impressions of them?
  15. I've never played this for the 5200, have thought about getting it and will eventually, but how does it play with the standard 5200 controller?
  16. With as good as the voices sounded I'm surprised that this game and Real Sports Baseball are the only 2 games that have voice in them. Shame. But yes I also agree 5200 Berzerk is awesome.
  17. I also posted in off topic, but I think it's more relevant here as I imagine a lot more people in the 2600 community have more experience recording video, so any suggestion would be helpful. The 2600 vids I took came out terrible and not sure if I will be able to record movies unless playing emulator which I really don't want to do. I have over 300 2600 games and I'd really like to get decent footage of real time gameplay on a real tv. Hello. I have started a youtube channel to showcase my game collection and to review stuff from my collection http://www.youtube.c...allyHonestGamer The problem is this. Everything I record is in real time, on real hardware. I don't want to use emulators or screen captures. I have a few Atari 2600 videos but as you can see they are crap because of the TV. My questions are: Can old systems be connected to HD Flat panel tv's? HD tv's don't have the problems of old tv's. But I've never hooked one up to my HD tv I figured the screen resolution was to high and would make it look strange, but is this actually the case? Does anybody else have any other suggestions on how to record classic games? Thanks.
  18. I wanted to share this, being the 5200 is one of my favorite classic systems of all time. sorry for the camera work, my gf's arm isn't that steady yet. also may be some strong language.
  19. i find the same problem in the Pittsburgh area. I try to educate people on the prices of the classic systems being a long time collector, almost 30 years, but nobody seems to care. There's a local shop that's been selling the same shit games for 12 years because they are all overpriced. I wonder if the owners ever wonder why the games don't sell.
